Not exactly. Ainaven works as a language interpreter for the Russian Chamber of Commerce. For more than two years we worked long distance without seeing each other. She also used to translate my poems into Russian for an Indo-Russian culture group I belong to. This sketch is just her imagination of how we looked like, she was influenced by the poetry... I met her in person much later after she had made this sketch.
The pretty girl is/was Priyanka.

Yes she does it well Ainaven. I have noticed most people in the eastern parts of Europe are real talented in terms of Art and Music. Infact they have a deep passion for all this. Something that we don't see much in our sub-continent.

In our sub continent artsts exist but they are not appreciated and above all they don't get any money for their talent.In West they appreciate what everyone does.

This is the painting of Princess Tarakanova by Konstantin Flavitsky.
I saw it first in Tretyakov’s Gallery in Moscow. Something about it just spellbounds me.
The story is really very sad…, She was so unlucky to be one of the pretenders to the Russian throne and they put her in jail and killed…
