I think you should give it a shot Sadzz - you might enjoy it :)
I thought it was a simple fairy tale told very simply. People have a problem with simple stories these days.

Movie sucks? That just ruins it for me! After being tied to a bollywood freak, I have to watch every movie he watches. He can't force me to it but I feel bad seeing him going to movies alone.

just saw the movie and its not good....i read the reviews and thought about amol palekar's direction and went to see it...there is nothing special abt it

omg what are you guys griping about? i loved that movie! has to be one of the FEW top bolly movies out there.
i don't know what kind of expectations poeple went with when they went to watch the movie. it isn't meant to be your typical masala films. it's based on a book! so obviously no ghissy pitty story.
i thought the story was just absolutely so sweet. i ended up feeling sorry for both of the Kisann's. the jewellery is awesome, and so are the dances.

^ I don't necessarily think that's true... a lot of the same people gave Swades two thumbs up including Kaka and myself. I'm not an ARK fan anyways... I deem Swades to be his best movie ever.
Any good movie has to have both a storyline as well as good execution. This one seems to have one or the other at best.

It is just SRK and his trademark role, once again.
This man has dedicated his life in impressing girl's relatives and surrounding more than any thing else even instead of girls themselves. I wonder why families in his new movies are still fooled by his trade-mark techniques which are all the same in almost every movie of him. If families in his new movies had watched his old ones then it was hard for SRK to fool them as they must have known his style and intentions. This is one and the only point I can make in favor of Paheli or any other SRK super-hit. :)

wasted 10 bucks.............no good comedy scenes....the chemistry just wasnt happening for me b/w srk and fatcow.....and the ending was ridiculous.... what the hell happened to the real one? he turned into the bird???
and why the hell would a woman be ok romanticizing with a ghost......she had sum issues there....
Silsilay was ten times better and so was the music..........
