Are the Pak F-16's of a custom spec. configuration like the Israeli version? I noticed the air intake is large like theirs and the tail looks similiar, as opposed to the package in service here in the US.

TOMASSO, you are quite right. Pakistan does have the same version of F-16’s which Israel have it but the TECHNOLOGY is different. That is why America is not giving rest of the F-16’s back to Pakistan

Wow, my hunches usually turn out to be correct. It took a bit of effort and poking about to make this guess. The real story is much larger than what is generally known. The electronics in the Israeli Falcons are their own. The engine and fuselage is from the US. I do like some of those older Chinese jobs shown by you, but from the standpoint of being defended by the latest whiz bang stuff flying over my country. I do like the "antiques" and classics. Your countrymen's viewpoint about having the latest technolgy flying derives from the real need for competitive, modern designs due to the neighborhood. I enjoy a local airshow that concentrates on WWII aircraft and encampment, here on the east coast. Do you ever go to the excellent airshows in California? If you haven't, you really should see one.

Can u explain technology is different?. I though america stopped the supply coz we were making missiles and weapons of mass destruction. btw did israel put its own avionics unthe f16. as far as u know the pak f16 had older technology.
