Qadri’s long march/PM arrest/NAB chief resignation… all these events are not just a coincidence..

We need to shed the conspiracy theory cloak once in a while. The CJ has openly feuded with top generals from the army over the past year or so. Do you really think they would be on the same page on anything?

Yes, they could have waited another 2 months. I agree on that. But justice delayed is justice denied.

CJ should understand repercussion of his decisions, its pretty clear that now elections wont be held on time, and PPP will get a victim card to play with. last thing we want is military takeover…

besides do u think a haari in sindh working for some wadera (same case can be true in punjab/KPK/Balochistan) can vote anyone other than his master..
I am just amazed at the reaction from sindh..more than 500 children/infants died in a month due to ‘khasra’ , which spread due to negligence of the government, but still they want to see the same government again with same ppl. I guess this nation gets wat it deserves..in the end.

Yes, they could have waited another 2 months. I agree on that. But justice delayed is justice denied.

That apparently applies only when the accused is PPP related. More favorable parties can be given years.

All this while millions have their cases pending for decades.

What courage. He and his son should be arrested in MR corruption case. Papa quadri, a Canadian Citizen should also be arrested for creating chaos in foreign country, informing the Canadian Government. That haami has taken the oath of Queen and he should stick to it.

I must admit Qadri’s behaviour has been dodgy even though his demands are genuine.

I was quite shocked at SC’s out of nowhere verdict as well but one thing i cannot understand is " Why on earth would you appoint someone a PM who is facing serious corruption case"?

Was it Zardari’s plan all along to make this guy a Siasi Shaheed knowing very well he has major corruption cases against him and especially when there were far more deserving candidates for this role?

The decision to arrest the prime minister is right, as he has been party of looting the national wealth especially when the economy was at the weakest and the people still suffer worst levels of load shedding even after throwing billions down the gutter. The only issue I have is with the timing.

He was supposed to serve as a scapegoat and embrace NRO martyrdom. But the official policy was drastically changed once he became the PM and the government decided to write the letter the SC had been demanding. It allowed Raja to continue as PM untill he was booked in a totally different case.

When Makhdoom Shahabuddin is nominated as PM , One uniformed officer of civilian ANF goes to court and obtains warrants of arrest and he could not become PM
Another suspended officer of civilian NAB Col (Rtd) Subah Sadiq reaches to SC to gets order of the arrest of PM .

They ordered to arrest the then minister for power and electricty, irrespective of whatever he happens to be now.

This sums its up pretty good. All those who are happy over the fact PM has been order to be arrested should remember this. Its not about individuals its about institutions.

Dissatisfaction over poor governance can and should be channeled into electoral system.

Crime, and crime at the level of what the current government and specially Raja Rental has been indulging in should be channeled through courts. The other option is that the millions of people affected by his crimes should bring him out, beat him up and hang him upside down from a tower for all to see. I really really wanted the second option when people protesting unbearable electricity load shedding were destroying state property and ransacking government offices.

We are used to a system where rich and powerful are beyond the reach of legal system. I am not really sure though, how and if the supreme court has the power to issue such orders in this case.
