How many days long is your cycle? Ovulation usually occurs 12-14 days *before *your next period (not after your last period, as many women believe.) So if you normally have a short cycle you might ovulate sooner than a woman with an average 28-day cycle.
Also, not all women have regular periods.
It's possible your predictor is just wrong, but remember that if every woman ovulated reliably on the 14th day after her last period there would be no market for those predictor thingies.
the 14 day ovulation thing is very misleading- only* some *women ovulate on their 14th day. if your ovulation predictor is telling you 2-3 days, i'd "listen" to it, and like others have suggested, get busy immediately. try to get busy every day for the next 3 days if you can so you are covered. and try to have fun! don't make it a chore :)
if it doesn't work this time, its ok, you have next month to try too.

What SGC said.
Anyhow, you're so young I don't see why you're stressing over ovulation, using predictors, etc. Just stay busy getting busy with your new hubz and pregnancy will happen naturally and most likely quickly without you having to worry about counting days, etc. If an old fart like me can do it within one month of marriage it'll be a total breeze for you. ;)
ok, but im confused., i ovulated 9 days not 14th day of my cycle..arghhh so annopyed and confused. anyway yes we are trying, inshallah all will be positive.
so just one queston, should you try daily or every other day IN ORDER to conceive...
^ There's mixed feelings about this, but if you're both young and healthy and with no known reproductive issues, do it as much as you want and don't think to much about it. ENJOY!
