Moti, listen to my story and you would feel better after that
In Pakistan, our stairs would come from the 2nd floor and go all the way down to a door that opened out to the street. To come in on the first floor, there was an entrance from the stairs, about 4-5 stairs before the last stair that was touching the door/street. In other words, if you wanted to go upstairs, you would enter the stairs; if you went up, you would go to upstairs, if you went a few stairs down, you would end up in the street as our house was a little higher than the street.
Anyway, sometimes I would fall from upstairs because the stairs were slippery and I would be climbing up/down too fast. I would roll all the way down and hit the door at the end of the stairs. To put icing on the cake, I would hit the trash can first and it used to empty on me while I am laying on the last stair and the door is holding me from going to the street and the trash is all over me.
You think that’s bad? That used to piss ammi off and she would sometimes beat us up for not being careful

Re: ouch =(
In elementary school we had our classroom on the second floor of the building. One morning while coming down the stairs I decided to jump over the last few steps, to the ground. I went up in the air, and banged my head against the steel header of the door at the entrance of the stairway. The impact threw the upper part of my body backwards and I fell down a few feet onto the concrete steps. For a minute or two, couldn't even breathe normally, and had mild pain in my thorax for days.
