Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

What do you meanm, not to blame a religion?

Does a part of Hindu religion not patronize cast system?
Jews beleive in the superiority of Judaism?
Christianity became a little cultured just 30-40 years ago?
Islam does not recognize any religion?

We must have courage to find fault with the religion instead of put up all blame on the followers…do bnot forget, by the time you defend a religion, followers are up to take lives of some thousands for the sake of religion.

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

so and what about ur treatment and attitude toward the christianity?i live in country where almost says that they r christians but when i look on them i seee they even have no idea what does it mean.and in the same moment i can communicate with muslims and im exited because they are so nice people.i gues almost people in countries where i christianity think that muslim hates the West countries where is christianity?does it true?

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

Every believer will beleive that what they believe is right. So to all of them , their respective religion is superiour.
I am bad in all this relegious stuff. But i dont think any relegion would preach hatred for their fellow beings.
Hindu religion practiced and to some extent are still practicing caste system. But these draconian laws were created by people. It is the interpretation of certain pharses in the Books which made such a law to be formed.
I dont know anything about Judaism. But i think every religion believe in the superiority over every other religion.
Christianity.. well yes.. cultured. But the founder of true cristainity was well cultured. Well i believe so at least.
Islam does not recognize any other religion.. I dont know also. I had many Muslim friends but no one bothered, wheather i am a Hindu or not. And one of them even comes with me to temple. He basicaly thinks that there is only one God. And if i call him Krishna or he calls him/her Allah does not matter. It reaches just one person upstairs.(if at all there exist one).
I dont know wheather Islam does not recognize any other religion. But my friend do believe in the equal existance of all religions. And i believe he is a true representative of a Muslim.

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

Vinesh, this is a real problem. We often defend the religion by putting up all blame on the follower or followers.
The fact is that the religion plays a bigger role in creating a particular psychology. If some exceptional case visits a temple of another faith, it does not make a difference. But when upper cast Hindus teach their newly born children to remain away from untouchables, it does make a difference.
And when a child sitting at a Masdrisa class repeats day and night that there is no God other than Allah….or whoever rejects the Ayats, .is good for nothing…..it does make a difference.

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

actually yes in jazeera. the only land where two religions can not co exist is jazeera or commonly known as saudi arabia. cuz the prophet SAW said that no two religions can co exist in jazeera tul arab. but the al saud need to be arrested first then we can worry about christians and hindus on that land.

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

why pakistan did not ban hindu temples is it because it was native to the region?

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

other religions can co exist with islam in all areas under the islamic govt. but not in jazeera. thats all.

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

these saudi's fokking terrorist ba$stards anyway..what do they know about law, ethics and morals! Until the entire middle-east is rid of dictators and tyrants islam will not be able to shake away its worsening image.

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

Jazeera Commonly called Saudi Arabia? thats a very weak explanation. SA came into existence as a nation state only 70 odd years ago, and it has nothing to do with the concept explained. Only place where non-muslims have been prohibited to enter is Mecca and Medina. History tells us that the Prophet and his companions would meet foreign representatives in Medina, meaning masjid e Nabwi was the place of worship and to run government. If that is the case, then non-Muslims werer allowed to enter and stay in this region.

By the way, these arrests were made in Riyadh…not part of Hijaz or Mecca and Medina…More importantly, no where has the Prophet or the Quran says that other religions are NOT allowed…restriciton was for entry to Mecca, only…

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

you right quran says mankind

PICKTHAL: And when We made the House (at Makka) a resort for mankind and sanctuary, (saying): Take as your place of worship the place where Abraham stood (to pray). And We imposed a duty upon Abraham and Ishmael, (saying): Purify My house for those who go around and those who meditate therein and those who bow down and prostrate themselves (in worship).

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

Can someone elaborate on Jazeera? I am not sure of this concept.

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

Its not just limited to Public schools, hijab is banned in all public institutions in a pseudo secular country like France as well as extremist secular country like Turkey (hijab wearing member of parliament not allowed to enter parliament)…And you can imagine the discrimination prevalent in the private sector of these country’s against a hijab wearing professional women…So in essence hijab is totally unacceptable, hence no freedom of religion in these so called domocratic tolerant countries…

Re: Other religions right to practice their faith?

When Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) entered Makkah with the army (the peaceful takeover); did he not allow the remaining pagan families to stay there? As far as a I recall, only the idols in the Makkah were destroyed and no where else (although this can be taken as an act of religious intolerance, thats a separate discussion). I don't think its logical to assume that there was only ONE place where idols where kept (people's houses, other buildings, etc).
