Re: Origins of Shiaism.
I have not read much and most of the above facts are new to me. A friend of mine gave my a book 'Khilafat o Malokiat' by Molana Moududi and that has aroused my interest in Islamic history. This book gives a different version of some of the events like battle of camel, battle of siffin and Khawarij.
I would like to read more and would appreciate any refernces you have for the above article. If some of the references are available online, it would be even better. Many thanx.
