9 out of 10 cases makes sense since at least 7 or 8 out of 10 people in India are Hindu.

When Hindus are attacked, no one believes its a hate crime because we wouldn’t expect Hindus to attack themselves out of hate. Makes sense.

When minorities are attacked on the other hand, be it in India or anywhere else, we believe they are being targeted because of who they are.

VHP spokesman’s comment raised some eyebrows.

I specifically mentioned the Shakti Mills rape case. Would you classify that as a hate crime ?
