I totally understand your point and 100% agree with it, but isn’t this what we all say and do every time our nation is attacked,

now think what will happen next, US is gonna literally carpet bomb the heck out of 400 million people because of few thousand terrorists, now we can all unite and be humble and try to be as polite to each other as we can or we can make sure that few thousands of these idiots don’t become the cause of death for all Pakistanis. this is the time when the emotions are raw that you have to turn the country in the right direction, two weeks from now none of us will be as emotional and we’ll go back to fighting each other the way we did yesterday. terrorists know this and they know that Pakistanis have short attention span and will continue to use this against us.

this is the right time to have the animal instincts and use it,

400 million people?

As a pakistani and as a human being Iam truelly shook by this tragedy, and this is the time to think and act wisely and collectively. I just pray that BB soul rest in peace, this shouldnt have happened , in the last year time many unexpected unpleasant events have been taking place in Pakistan threating the safety and peace. I therefore pray and request everyone to spare some time to ponder over the circumstances and protest against the terrorist attacks.Theres a lot to say and pray, my heart cries and woes.I dont know much about BB but as a human beiing I respect her and feel sorrow for her family.May her soul rest in peace(Ameen)

shriek, if you consider that america will most likely bomb pakistan, afghanistan and iran most likely at the same time and under one operational name i was generalizing the total populations.

But where people support Dictators and a military regime (whatever their reasons might be) UNITY among a nation aur wo bhi Pakistani awaam can never be reality. And I dont differ between Ex-Pats, Pakistani passport holder living abroad or/and Citizens of any other country with a Pak dil.
Not even in a such critical situation like now. Remember that.

X2 i agree but rite now our city is Burning like Hell ppl were fighting on the streets burning cars with childrens family inside that .........hospitals , banks shops buildings i wish that all the leaders and parties were just disappeared and Only muslims with no parties r left ......... they r blaming and fighting for what ????????

We have been missing of peace, justice and freedom for the last couple of months now. Unity can not prevail in such circumstances, we (the once against dictatorship) have not cried for no wrong reasons since May 2007.
Although Im deeply hurt by yesterday, we need to control our emotions and try to build some Unity among Pakistanis even at worst case scenarios. I finally agree.

If we keep on saying that complete unity can never be a reality then let me tell that our condition would be worst in near future, we need to understand our obligations as an individual and try to act our part in the society. I know theres lot corruption in the system everywhere in Pakistan,hard to face, but if we say that nothing gonna happen and keep on living our life nothing gonna change.We have to be determined on our parts , I totally agree X2

Ladies and Gentlemen... wait...brothers and sisters.

Today has been a tragic day for our nation, whether you like BB or not, teh fact that such events can happen is an eye opener to us of the threats that are present to our society.

over the years we have all locked horns, proposed different views, argued, fought, learnt, etc. But not one day did I ever see anyone who did not have the best interests of the nation in mind. Everyone wants what is best for the nation, although people's views on how best to get there, and what it is are different.

Now, as we see the violent reaction to this tragedy, we can see how things can get out of hand very quickly and start resulting in destruction of private and public property. threat to avg citizens, and their lives and livelihood.

discussing theories, BB's impact in pakistan, etc is all fine and encouraged, but lets not become mobs and get into name calling, or the usual one upmanship games. The need of the hour, day, week, month is to speak and act in a more responsible manner.

The nation needs unity, and educated people like us should show through our words and actions that despite our differences, we are all united for Pakistan.

Just some thoughts, not targeted to anyone, and not meant to offend anyone.

Thanks for saying this my friend. I visited the site a few times since she died but didnt like what was going on. Personaly i didnt like her but as Pakistanis we should be able to respect the opinions of hudreds of thousands of those who liked her.
