For centuries many people have taken out time from their hectic schedules to water the precious plant. Why do we do this?
When asked, Tariq from TobaTekSing, he replied, after thinking for a moment, “mere ammi menu kendey si k Plantan de v jaan honddey ey.”
This comes to show how many people view the plant as an important part of their life.
Then we took our study further and inquired Shehzada a flower shop owner, “je plant muk gaye tay roses keithon aoun gey valen day de? hain?”
So it is clear that to many a plant is like their pet! It brings people happiness in a crises n gives them a feeling of sharing.
