Nadz, are you telling me that you're diet entails avoiding chicken at all costs? That's crazy. Please don't avoid protein....they are the building blocks of your body and important for your skin and hair.
Chicken is a good form of lean protein. It's all about moderation and technique of cooking. Instead of downing a grease soaked crispy fried chicken drumstick, why not opt for baked or grilled chicken which are both healthier cooking methods. You can soak a chicken breast in the marinade of your choice and then bake it.
You can even include diced up/shredded chicken in your salad. Other forms of healthy protein include fish, eggs, nuts.
****And please don't skip carbs completely. Avoid the bad carbs also known as the complex carbs (cookies, chocolate, chips, etc) and instead opt for simple carbs that keep you feeling full for longer, are more nutritious, low in calories, and assist in weight loss such as (apples, sweet potatoes, various fruits and veggies).
*********It has been found that people often confuse the brain's signal for thirst with hunger. So, drinking plenty of water and prevent hunger pangs.
*****Here's a tip: When you feel a craving, go brush your teeth. It has been found that toothpaste can help to nip cravings in the bud.
***** Another tip: Exercise. It can help reduce food cravings.
Umm if im not mistaken she wants that fried chicken, and chips.. a baked/boiled chicken wont hit the spot!
