your child will be an abcd just like me, my parents raised me with good indian-american values/morals, i see abcds like me as having the best of both worlds in them, a good blend of east and west. it's sad that there are these stupid ways of thinking about kids that grew up in the united states or abroad. you can't take my indian roots away from me whatever you say, i might be on the lighter side when it comes to skintone/complexion/looks but i'm just as much an indian as i am an american. love both parts of me.
now can we stop bashing abcds and get back to the topic of the thread

I did not mean any offense, but neither you nor my children represent "Indians" so for people to take potshots at Indians based on what ABCDs do is silly. ABCDs are Indian Americans, which is a totally different breed IMO.

Forget ABCDs, I know indian americans who wear dresses showing that hint of cleavage and bare legs. I don't know why it is hard for indians to accept that; don't you guys have naked gods and goddesses in your temple? I think vir sanghvi once wrote why it is not a big deal for indians to bare in cinema or in actual life since hinduism embraces provocative sexuality.

This is very similar to Jacquelin’s outfit she wore to IIfa awards. Her shirt was not as long as Katrina’s, but both versions are gorgeous!!!
