But Pakistan played better in the tournament. I was expecting them to finish 5 or bottom in the group but they managed to beat Canada and South Africa and if they win their next two classification matches they can play in next years Champions Trophy.

Not for 7th position, but for 5-8 classification. If they won their next two classification matches they will get the 5th postion.

Oh no. Jang is right. I am wrong. The FIH has changed the format of the tournament for the first time. It has eliminated one classification match. Now Paksitan is really out of Champions Trophy and will play the 2nd rated Champions Challenge next year.
