Olive Oil

Re: Olive Oil

Lusi, LOL…He used the cooking olive oil in hair??? :hehe:

saadia, olive oil comes in many varieties…‘Extra virgin’ term only implies that it is of a higher quality and is better tasting. But don’t get confused between cooking olive oil and the one that is only meant to be applied on skin/hair.

Us pahelwaan log do such things... Rocky consumed kachey andey too! Look where it got him!

Re: Olive Oil

thanks a lot guys

but eat it with salad :bummer:

olive oil comes in like 3 varities. extra virgin, virgin, and regular. extra virgin means when the olives go through the first pressing. that oil is definitely more expensive since it’s got all the healthy stuff. then it goes through another pressing, and that’s virgin and final pressing is regular oil. that’s like the left overs of the oil. cheap stuff :clown:

old and flabby and without a real job

My mom often used it in our hair.

I pretty much always use olive oil in all my cooking.

Re: Olive Oil

Olive oil is very rarely used for for cooking here because it is damn expensive.

In our house, and most of the homes there is always a bottle of olive oil which is used specifically for medical reasons. Jab bhi kisi bachey ka gala kharab, khansi hoti hai tu ammi abbu olive oil se uskey galey ki malish kar detey hain tu wo theek ho jata hai :mash:

So whenever i smell olive oil , it remind me that it is for maalish ( massage ) only :smack:

Re: Olive Oil

^ I had a really hard time cooking with olive oil in the beginning because I associated the scent with something to put in hair, not in food.

ive heard olive oil is good for you well heaps better than sunflower oil...We use extra virgin olive oil since doctor said this is the best one :) but hey it is expensive..

a lil bottle is for like £5.00 and it is gone with in a week where as the others lasted for weeks.
