It’s politics, and even the “CJ” supporters say that now.

Nawaz Sharif was the first to call the CJ’s corrupt son Arsalan when this all began in March to pledge his support, so it’s a meeting of minds as such.
Re: Of hats and shawls and dubious deals. (merged)
Look at that clown CJ sitting their like some chaudhury/wadera/politician with a massive portrait of himself in the background.
Egotistical maniac! Is this how a Chief Justice behaves?

Well technically, a COAS as the top commander has to be a troop savvy people's person with troop as well as certain public appearances and tours being a part of his job as a leader (even more so in a strategically and politically troubled country like ours).
It's not so for a Chief Justice. Even in a judicially and criminally challenged country like ours.
Re: Of hats and shawls and dubious deals. (merged)
^"certain public appearances" are okay, like on 23rd March or 14 th August or visisting a school. But its not COAS's job to go to Q leagues "Jalsas" and ask vote or get his huge posters or banners erected in Islamabad and organising rallies.

Maybe the "Chief Justice" is wanting to run for the office of Chief of Army Staff? :D
