It is also very likely that ‘support’ and ‘opposition’ to OBL both existed in Pak army at various levels/groups, one group wanted to keep him ‘detained’ (so no other acts can be carried out) at the same time away from US while some leadership disagreed with him being there, so at the time OBL was killed the leadership who was in disagreement allied in the attack.
