This is an amazing choice, and like all the western paper's have been saying, this really is a lot like when the young John F Kennedy picked LBJ as his running mate to take advantage of his experience and success in the Senate. Biden is one of the most powerful men in the Senate, as the head of the foreign relations committee, so this is a great choice to shut up people about Obama's inexperience.
And you guys are right, this is good news for Pakistan, Biden knows as much about Pakistan as any US Senator could, and he would not make a mistake like Obama did when he publically implied that he would defy Pakistan's sovereignty for his nation's short term military interests.
