I think it's about time the word 'mercurial' was n't just coined for Pakistan.
SA are as unpredictable as India and Pakistan when it comes to their batting
350 odd against WI and not even 200 today!
The conditions probably played a part but then there should n't be such discrepancy between two back to back performances of a top team

Its still to early to say whats going to be the order of semifinalists. I think NZ will top the standings in super eight (they have some kind of hold over aussies).
Should be interesting few matches ahead.

They got kicked in the keaster by lowly BD and lost their crown....in essence SA is much more predictable then India and Pakistan due a sound domestic circuit and cricket board.
The best label for them is infact "Chokers". As they are proving once again.
However, I agree with you about the labelling. Pakistan needs to be labelled something else then "mercurial" becuase this label can be applied to almost any side in ODI cricket today.

Hope SA get in to semis. England can't take out Australia. SA at least have a chance.
It looks like SL&AUS final, as GoldenAsif said. Hope we see a 96 repeat but it looks like Aus will win with ease. Damn it!
