Tremendous fightback by the Aussie bowlers in a seemingly hopeless situation
Not a convincing win by NZ. should have won by at least 6 or 7 wickets esp. after McCullum's 50
Hats off to Aussie bowlers for not giving up despite having to defend such a small total
Aussie resolve and mental resilience is unmatched in World Cricket

What an amazing game... My mom was praying that Aussies shouldn't loose with so much margin and they didn't... lol.. I wanted NZ to win so badly despite how good they were in bowling but Aussies were rough on them. Great game. Unbelievable fightback!

Johnson went for 11.33 RPO (68 runs off 6 overs) and Aussies still only narrowly lost a low-scoring thriller

NZ players are clicking just at the right time. A year ago no one would have given them a chance but now they look favorites.

NZ batting (relying heavily on McCullum and Kane Williamson) is a concern though. They probably have the best seam attack in this tournament. Ross Taylor has been short of runs.

yes, but Aussie also buckled from 80/2 to 97/6, 4 wickets for 17 runs. They should have done better after warner and Watson laid the foundation. NZ despite collapsing at the end kept their nerve and finished in grand style.
