Re: NWFP Chief Minister Show’s his true Face
NWFP CM okayed seven facilities on last day
Former NWFP chief minister Akram Durrani has become the first NWFP chief minister to approve seven facilities, including three lifetime facilities, for former chief ministers before quitting on October 2, when he advised the governor to dissolve the NWFP Assembly, Daily Times has learnt. Durrani issued a notification on October 2 approving facilities for the former CMs “permanently settled in NWFP”. The facilities allow the former CMs one prohibited bore and two non-prohibited bore weapons without licence, free access to government guesthouses, rest houses, circuit houses and Frontier Houses in the province and in Islamabad, pick and drop facilities at Peshawar/Islamabad airports with protocol, and use of a government vehicle for three days during their stay at the Frontier House in Islamabad. He also sought services of a driver and two security guards from the provincial police and a private secretary as lifetime facilities.
