What is your criteria of Hit then? I did say 90's so yes they are no longer hit but they were on top of their careers in 90's

Not true.

Cameron Diaz got famous after starring in the 'The Mask' which came out in 1994. Another one of her hits was 'There is something about Mary' which got released in 1998.

I personally think she is one of the pretty ones.

I thought a actress is considered hit if people hang her photos in their bedrooms , are dying to get their autographs , are buying a used chewing gum of theirs etc. May be I am wrong to think so. Pardon me for my naivete if I am wrong.

So wouldn’t that mean that they as person and actress were not hit but their show or movie was hit because it had great story , great script , great action , great direction , great everything except a good looking actress. I have watched a few of hit movies by Whoopie because they are great movies , but I watch movies of Sandra Bullocks and Julia Roberts because they are good looking.

you forgot to mention great acting ... :D

they are actresses so looks should be secondary to the acting. Its like danny devito who has many hit movies under his belt, but he is hardly a stud muffin.

I used to think Cameron Diaz was gorgeous.. very striking but at the same time one of those faces that looked amazing with makeup but rubbish without..
