^^^ Harming other humans: There are no acts as good deed, where one harms other humans (who are not physically harming you) or even harming animals (unnecessarily). Harming other humans is ‘fitna’ something Allah abhors … and person guilty of harming others would be answerable to Allah on judgment day.
Harming others does not mean, harming someone in self-defence, but it is harming others who are not harming you or not creating fitna on earth (physically harming people weaker than them or spreading mischief, hate, turmoil, tumult, mayhem, killings, etc). As for harming others in self-defence, in response to others physically harming you or harming those who are creating fitna on earth, is allowed in Islam, and is not considered as harming others.
