you obviously havent been out much!
so many spanish and black girls have their noses pierced now. And a lot of white girls too.
maybe it's a new york thing...

just clean it with alcohol pad twice a day n do turn it a few times.. atleast thats what i was told

Exact same thing happened to me. It would go away and come back if I got lazy about cleaning it. You need to get antibacterial soap and mix with some water. Clean the inside and outside of the piercing and your nose with it using a q-tip. Then apply Neosporin on the hole to help it heal and get rid of any germs.

Paki pride- nose is almost fixed now (thanks to haldi+mustard oil)
now i m just cleaning it like sahar02 said and its almost healed Thank God
The nose pierce is healed just a little bit of the bump left
I think that should get healed soon Insha Allah
and to anyone who said to use alcohol - DONT DO IT
I have read on many websites how it irritates the piercing and i used it in the beginning which i think made the bump worse- and dont listen to any doctor's advice coz my dad told me to use all this stuff like alcohol/bacetricin etc and it makes it all worse and leaving it alone was probably the best thing to do (except when putting oil on it)

**To Sahar02- **did the neosporin get rid of the bump for u or did u use it for cleanign purposes???

I am dying to get it pierced...but ST attempt was not successful..and it could never heal...i want a shinny little diamond..Sparkle..Sparkle..

cutiepie, it did but i had to clean and apply the neosporin regularly. a few lazy days and i had a bump again.

A week.

Apparently this happened very often to my mother and to my mother-in-law. They gave up on it after a while. According to my MIL, some people have a vein very close to the piercing and it just keeps getting infected, no way around it.

Recently i bought a new stud that fell out in the middle of the night while I had one of these bumps, so I figured, let it heal and then I’ll put another stud back in. Of course the hole closed. I might repierce in the future.

I have a very little bump. Do u think i should use neosporin. would it do any damage?

^I"m not aware of any damage it would do. It's pretty safe. You do need to accompany it by cleaning the inside and outside once a day.

The same thing had happened to me except for me the zit was inside the nose and obviously very painful. I closed it and later when i was getting it done again, i was told that sometimes the hole is done on or near a vein and hence the pimple or zit appears. the second time it was a lady doing it and she had more knowledge of it so she felt for a vein first and then pierced away from it. And Alhamdulillah its fine. Have had it for years now.

Wen i had ma nose pierced the gun wasnt workin in ma nose and ma mum was laughing at me sayin that my nose is too small lol and the lady was movin ma nose about it felt so wiered wen she pierced it the first time it didnt go in ma skin started to bleed only from the top but wen she done it the second time it didnt go in but the third time thank god it went in and i didnt even feel it and dat same day i started to move my stud around but a full week after the stud fell out and i now have a real silve 1 and my nose is comletly better within 2 weeks lol lucky me

the lady who pierced my nose was unhygene cause she was toching the stud all around and she didnt put and solution on before piercing she just pierced straight farward thats wrong innit?

i got it pierced with a gun and it was fine for 2 weeks and the guy told me to change the stud in one week (which i found out later was completely wrong) but i changed it in 2 weeks to a silver one and i think thats what caused the bump (which occured 2-3 days after i changed the stud) becoz the nose wasnt completely healed when i changed it
Paki pride make sure u clean ur nose everyday (but not with alcohol) becoz u did the same thing that I had done- I hope the same doesnt happen to u becoz its a total nightmare

OMG..I got my nose pierced froM jackson hts, and they put in a artificial pin.. they told me to change it to gold a few weeks later but i dunno, the skin grew around it.. eventually it got infected and I took it out.

I got it re-done wheN i was in pak from some gully-wala jeweler, he used the gun n all, and my aunties put in a sohna ka koka after afew hours and lemme tell ya it was the most painful thing i ever experienced :sara: But after the initial pain wore off, it was gud.. and nw ive never had any problem wit my naak alhumdulillah :clown:

how about you go see a dermatologist who can tell you how to treat this? you don't want to cause permanent damage or scarring on your face.

I wouldn't use haldi and oil though--oil can harbor bacteria and cause an infection.

^nevermind...I read your follow-up--I'm happy that your nose is better!
