I think the US should just annex Canada and turn it into a national park and send all the vanquished canadians further north in what will be termed as the american gulag. Their audacity in criticizing our president over the war in Iraq is tantamount to treason. Send a couple of F-16 (not even stealth, they have wombats manning the radar stations) to blow the CN tower and other landmarks of canadian pride....

I love how the American's 'think' that we love them and want to be a part of them...when in fact most of us Canadian's are insulted when people say Canada and America are the same (Its kind of like calling a Pakistani an Indian)
and the British need to just get over themselves...the only thing yall got going for you is ...hmmm well nothing really
Thing that I love about Canada:
-awesome health care system (free)
-gun control
-low crime rate
-its beautiful
-it is not supporting our southern neighbour in international bullying
The list is much longer but I have to go shovel the extra snow from infront of my igloo!

I really want to know where this ridiculous rumor comes from? I’ve lived in 7 different states and in every part of the country (save the midwest) in my 37 years on this planet but I’ve never experienced Americans with this opinion on Canada/Canadians. The fact is that we don’t have any meaningful opinon about you at all, as this thread demonstrates.
I think the rumor is purely wishful thinking on the Canadians part. You just want us to think about you, which is really quite sad.

I have lived in Canada for all 24 years I have been on this planet and almost 90% of the Americans I have met think that Canada should just become another U.S. state…and make stupid comments to that effect… one American from my University thought all of North America belonged to the U.S.
And sorry to say most Canadians really dont care what opinion Americans have about us…as Americans are not considered the brightest of the bunch and are too self absorbed to know that other people do exist beyone the U.S. borders!(Unless they have oil offcourse) No offence to you personally, im sure your a great guy… but I have come accross too many goofs from south of the border!

But most Americans spend perhaps 10 minutes per year pondering their neighbors to the north. It's sort of like Nitrogen in the air. You think about air, you think oxygen, giver of life. But there is plenty of Nitrogen there, it just doesn't matter. No one would really miss it if it were gone, and perhaps there is some obtuse biological reason for Nitrogen in the air, but nobody really cares.
So, perhaps Canadians, like Nitrogen are simply inert.

canada has NOTHING america doesnt have…its boring …niagra falls is a complete bore n waste of time.. maddd desi ppl go there its like they have to go every summer..well niagra falls wud have been the only good thing bout canada but you can kinda see it from new york too n like half of it is there …i’ve been to canada a couple of times …n it was a bore(used that word thrice)…well it wud be for some especially if u live in one of the crowded places like jersey n new york…, i mean they have nothing…theirs nothing to see! only a lil of toronto is i guess nice to see around and shop if ur willing to pay tax of 11%..lol…and the place itself is beutiful like montreal..etc… n if u relli wanna go to canada its not bad if u go once…

Lol actually Niagara falls is one of those places ONLY tourists go… the only time I go is when a visiting relative is in town and insists on seeing it… there are many other great places …Montreal is super fun …so is Toronto(where I live)… feel free to contact me next time ur in town and I will show you how to have a fun time in Canada

I went to Canada few years ago and stayed with some distant relatives and all. It’s funny because they think they’re black and try acting all “gangsta” 
. I remember they kept saying “yo guy” and crap aggh i wanted to smack them.
