Who told you that Islam has not given that opportunity to women?
By default men have right of ‘Talaq’ (divorce without going to court), but it is also Islamic that if husband gave that right to wife, what husband can do at anytime, before or after nikah (marriage), wife also gets the right of ‘Talaq’ (divorce without going to court). In this case, if she wants, she can end marriage anytime without going to court and asking for Khula (divorce through court).
Since at time of Nikah a woman can make this a condition of Nikah that man (would be husband) gives her right of Talaq too, then there is no harm in it if she does. If man does not want to give that right, woman can decide and pull out of Nikah before even Nikah contract is signed (Nikah agreement is made), as that is her right.
