it has to be pitch black, but sumtimes when i am dead tired I acn sleep with my glasses on while watching TV… 
(yup broke three pairs so far!)

I have this real big problem and I Just can’t sleep with any light for some reason (besides moonlight). Any other light, like from my clock, I’ll have to turn it around to face the wall because that eerie green glow gives me the creeps

i need darkness, no closet doors open, blinds closed, door closed.

^ Exactly i have to have the closet FULLY closed, bathroom fully closed.. blinds/curtains closed without any peaks.. lolzz and then the fan on low, and the night light on.. & before i go to sleep i have to go throughout my house and make sure all the doors are locked .. :D

Yup..blinds closed, door mostly closed, lights turned out except for the night light.
I must add I'm heavily dependent on fan. I cannot sleep without the fan turned on. May be its the sound/noise it makes or something that it does that I need to have before I could fall asleep, especially at night. It doesn't matter if its -25C or +25C, the fan must be on!
