it was an emotional Monday night for Brett Farve - after passing of his father - he did start the game and win for his team - he has also moved in second place for TD passes in the NFL history.
Vikings had a pretty good defence against Chiefs - i admit but in the first half the refs didn't turn the incorrect decision they made - it was a clear TD for Chiefs when one of Vikings' defender defended Cheif's runner outside of the line - even after watching the reply the refs didn't turn the decision - that was pathetic and it let us down however Preist Homles did get 3 more TDs - 25 all in season(highest TDs at the moment) - all three games we have lost are on the road - however with the loss of Colts against Broncos - we have guaranteed of a better conference record - and possibly home advantage in the playoffs - next Sunday we play against Chicago Bears.
Tampa Bay won't defend their title this year as they couldn't qualified for the playoffs - it's been a ups and downs year for the them - did anyone catch the game between Saints and Jaquars? OMG - what a wild finished it was! Saints have become the only team in the NFL history to score a TD at the last moment of the game and lose it by 1 point - how on earth John Carney could missed a simple PAT? unbelieveable! - Saints are out of the playoffs race!
Titans beat Texas in the last 17 sec of the game - another wild finished by Steve McNair!
Detriot Lions have become the worst team in the NFL history by losing consecutive 24 times on the road - well done!
49ers ended a 9 game streak winning streak of Eagles - New England Patriots have the best NFL record at the moment.
A touchdown record for Priest Holmes(27 season's highest) - today the defence was brilliant even though it was Bears - heck we needed to play more defensive game! we are the division champs!
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – **Priest Holmes set the NFL record for touchdowns in a season with 27, scoring twice in Kansas City’s game against Chicago on Sunday. **
Holmes passed Emmitt Smith’s record for touchdowns rushing with a 1-yard run – when he strutted across the goal line – in the first quarter.
He erased the overall record of 26 touchdowns set by Marshall Faulk in 2000 with a 2-yard run in the third period. Smith’s record of 25 touchdowns rushing stood since 1995.
The short, powerfully built Texas native came into the game leading all running backs with 6,510 yards of total offense since 2001, the year he signed with Kansas City as an unrestricted free agent.
When he underwent hip surgery last spring, Holmes set the touchdown record as his 2003 goal. With a 24-yard scoring run against San Diego in the opener, he put an immediate end to speculation the surgery seriously diminished his skills.
He had only two touchdown run of more than 15 yards and 18 were 5 yards or shorter. The longest was a 31-yard run against Pittsburgh
What a weekend of football. 2 good games and 2 blow outs. Eddie George is the man...dislocated shoulder and all, takes the pounding and delivers big blows. Manning...what a game, you can win a play off game.
Sheraz, I am looking forward to the game. I dont know who will win, but I do know that it will be a good game. If Mcnair was healthy I will say definetly Titans will win...now I am not so sure. Welcome back or are u back from Pak yet?

i think mcnair was healthy when he first lost to the patriots..and yes i m back..cant miss the playoffs..i do think patriots will have an easier time next week if they do advance tomorrow
Sheraz I am not shcoked man. patriots played well. Titans killed themselves with stupid penalties. I am not taking away anything from patriots defense, but those penalties on the last drive were the killers. It was an excellent game. Even though titans lost, I know that they gave it all they had and they were oh so close. Drew Bennet just could not coem up with the catch. You see its hard to hate a team, if they come out and acknowledge that their opponent was just as worthy as they are. That is what patriots did...so I hav eno qualms with there players or the coaches. Just want to wish them good luck.... and wait for the next season.
It was a game between two evenly matched teams...its sad that one had to loose. They are both good teams...even Bellichick admitted that. Anyway, Good luck in the next round and lets keep that SB in AFC.
our defense was a disater - we were in the game when Dante Hall had a TD on a 92-yard kickoff runback - but it took only 3 mins for Colts to scored another TD - Peyton Manning - the guy is unbelieveable - 8 TDs in the playoffs with no interception.
we have become the first team in the NFL to be knocked off from the playoffs four times without proceding to the next round - it was also the first time in NFL history that there were no punts in a playoff game as both teams were busy in scoring - i think we need to get defesive players and a new defense co-ordinator for next season - all in all good season for us.
2 seconds left in the game, 4th and 26 from Philly's side of the field, McNabb, with season the line, throws a perfect pass to Freddie Mitchell and completes the first down which put the Eagles in a position to hit the winning field goal in overtime. That guys in my opinion was the defining moment of the game and a shining moment for McNabb.
20-17 Eagles advance to NFC title game.
maybe after this performance by the eagles rush would shut up for good about how good this guy really is. dang man, had i gone for a whizz i woulda missed one of the best football moments in years.
