NFL Predictions

^ 6 posts up.

They are a wonderful, wonderful bunch of crap players without sense of direction. :)

I agree TB is a good team, but winning SuperBowl back to back is not a joke... particularly in recent years because of salary cap. First of all NO burned TB twice last year, and they couldn't stop PHI too. NFL is going to study all those films and somebody is going to come up with a formula to beat TB, so winning every Sunday is not going to be as easy for TB as it was in 2002. And till last year TB was labelled as "can't play in cold weather" team.

I agree MIA doesn't go beyond December, but I think they have a better chance this year. Last year they were hurting at QB & WR positions, but this year they have good depth at QB, and they have a league leading rusher in Ricky Williams, so they should easily be able to stretch the fields on pass-play actions. AFC is tougher than NFC, so Dolphins is my second pick.

From NFC I like RAMS. This team was hurting last year mainly because of offensive line & special team. They topped the league in turnovers. This year they have a healthy start QB in Kurt Warner, and a proven backup QB. Marshall Faulk is as explosive as always. This offense can turn the table around in last 2 minutes. They have been to 2 SBs in last 4 years.

I don't think Tuna can turnaround Cowboys in one year. I think he will improve Cowboys def., which is already good. He doesnt have a proven QB, RB & WR, and I think it would be too much to ask from a head coach. I don't think Cowboys will cross .50 mark this year.

Eagles is a better team, but not as strong as last year on def. They lost Hough Douglas to free agency, and their lead ball carrier, Duce Staley, has not yet reported to the team practices. Eagles would again go to playoffs, may be upto NFC championship, but not beyond it.

Bottom line, I think it's going to be RAMS or DOLPHINS.

~~ Anybody interested in Fantasy Football?? ~~

Ricky Williams can rush however many yards he wants, that won't guarantee anything. Miami's got plenty of talented playmakers but there is no consistency, no mental toughness and certainly no leadership.

If it doesn't happen this year, then it's a hopeless cause. 'Leading rusher', 'leading sacker' etc. amounting to zilch.

You guys are all loosers, you have to beat Bills in AFC to go to S-Bowl and it's not going to happen this year. GO BILLS.......

^ TO play for the bills or root for the bills or live in buffalo is redundant with suicide.

^Bills... this is a joke right. Bills will have to win their division first, I dont se them beating Miami or Jets. Maybe in a few years.

Matty, Dont get excited, Giants are not going to do anything special either.

Kaleeb bhai..I like the Dolphins. Gints are ok..but Miami should have a good season.

Miami is ok, but they are not getting past my beloved Titans. Titans Rule. Go Titans.

titans are one McNair thumb away from having a washout. Plus they need serious help in OLB.

<< ^Bills... this is a joke right. Bills will have to win their division first, I dont se them beating Miami or Jets. >>

Now you are joking Right? Remember Miami was beaten twice by bills last year. Look at jets and you think they are btter than last year, WHAT A JOKE.

New England is not problem for Bills this year, you watch and see.

JOKING....... my foot.....

MATTY, we don't have Scott Norwood in the team anymore. Don't piss us off or we will stop paying taxes and you guys will nothing to play with IN THAT F***** city.

^ hahahah sure thing Johnny.

Why don't you guys just move to Toronto. Maybe you can liven up that drab place.

JohnD, do I need to remind you of Music City Miracle..."immaculate reception". Enough said about the Bills.
Matty, Titans needing OLB..huh.. Keith Bullock, Peter Sirmon remind you of something? Plus, McNair is the toughest quarterback in the league. He can take the pain and deliver, he has proven that. Also, they have nice insurance in Neil O'Donnell.
Miami on the other hand still needs a quarterback. Moreover, if rikcy goes down kiss their season good bye.

Tampa Bay has 2 quality quarterbacks, first Johnson from last year and the rookie name Chris Simms.
He is definitly a future Bret Farve.

Kaleem Uncle, I think you need to take course on Football, I know couple of books good for you. This is not cricket or the stupid Soccer where you have to look back three years of record to find out how good a team is? In your case, if have Steve M. and the old failed bast**** Neil O, because of him Steelars lost the s-bawl and who do you have to throw the ball at. Remember, just having a good (may be average QB(s)) is not enough, you still need couple of pairs of hands to catch the ball down the field to score some points. Don't count on RB, he old and fragile, I'll be surprise if he last more than 6 games.
Now Bills, we have a good proven QB with one of best backup QB . We have atleast two good receivers and maannn bunch of good RBs. OL is coming together and they will be best this year. On defence, we have best core of line backers and NFL best pair of CB. The only and I mean The only problem Buffalo has is Pass Rush and I think we will be fine in this as we have Sam Adams and Pat Williams in the middle, both are 300 LB + and they run like a RB. You are looking 7 ft wide wall of meat in the middle.

<< do I need to remind you of Music City Miracle..."immaculate reception". Enough said about the Bills. >>

Yeah you need miracles, how long you gonna win games on miracles, lets start winning by your own talent. Now, start praying for miracle again, or may be you need more than one this year.

johnd after I was done laughing about your childish response, I decided to teach you a few things about the Football. You are so full of contradiction its funny, you say

and then call Neil O'Doneel a ******* and you are tying him to his previous performance. Make up your mind kiddo, what are you trying to say?

When you say you have a good quarterback, you mean for the regular season right? Because Drew Bledsoe can through for miles in the regular season, its the big one that he cannot win. Steve Mcnair on the other hand is a winner, he can put the team on his shoulder and take it to the promised land.
regarding eddie George, he is so old, that he will run for atleast 1100 yards this year. I dont think you are in a position to talk much, becasue your team invested in Willis Mcgahee, and he cannot even play this year.

Titams do not need mircales, its a despearte team like Bills who are trying to catch lightning in a bottle by drafting Willis McGahee in the first round. Stupid ....
Now dont take any of this personally, and lighten up. Its still a game.
BTW, Does d in your name stand for Dumb ?

Kaleem Unlce, good, atleast I put a smile on your face.

When I said that don't look back to find future result I meant team not individual. Neil O. is a proven failure with other teams. His ASS was kicked out of Stealers like you will not believe and in my mind he is may be a third string QB. And on Steve M. He is not the best out there and still he can't throw and catch the ball at the same time. He needs somebody who can catch the ball and you don't have any. Let me explian again how that throw and catch works. QB throws only when he sees a receiver open, its a reciever job to dodge his coverage and get open when he suppose to be open. If he is late than QB is already looking at his 2nd option which is his 2nd receiver, if he is also not open than QB only have one option left and that is tight END if he is open or if RB is young and strong enough to stay open in pocket (which Eddie is not), he will look at them and either throw that ball to them or throw it away to save his cute ass from incoming Rush. In those above option you only have one person who is reliable and that is your tight end and he is also old and not 100% anymore. (or may be he is retired already). So, having a good (average) QB is not enuff, you need good receivers. Look at Atlanta, they had best QB but had no reciever last year so they traded their 1st round pick to get a reciever and because of that they have a good shot at S-Bawl now.

Now, on Willis M., you don't know Tom Donahue., this guy is known for gambling and winning all the time. Go and search ESPN or NFL site and find one person who had said that he made a mistake and will be sorry in the future. YOu know why? because they know who Tom D. is and they know that he never fails.

John, Tom D gambled, he has failed before, every executive inNFL does. You might want to research all of yoyur refrences again and come back and talk about teh failures Tom D has experienced.

Let me explain something to you, you need a qurterback who can throw to a reciever, wussess like Drew Bledsoe are not around to throw the ball after they get injured. Who is Bills backup querterback any way?
titans do have some good recivers, Dercik Mason, Tyron Calico is a speedster who will surprsie a lot of people. They have Drew Bennet as a possession reciever. They will be fine.
Who are the "bunch of good RBs" that are on Bills roster?
When you understand that Football is a game of heart and strategy, you will know why Bills are not going to the Superbowl (BTW, Mr I will teach you football... Here is one for you Dummy... and I call it Football for Aholes who think they know everything) Its called Superbowl not Superbawl. Now go back and check your sites again .

Cool down friends.

Anyways, which QB is most likely to be the best this season.

Gannon is only going downhill (too old)
Johnson
Steve McNair and Donovan McNab, 2 of my favorites, never die attitude.

John Dummy, look what I found!! One of the gambles taken by your smartest mind of football.
