to be very frank your site was not down due to posting links here but your hosting provider probably ripped you off and allotted you very limited bandwidth.
you may have received 10000 visit or 100000 page views your site shouldnt have gone down just because of bandwidth.
furthermore i have been to here since years and i know how much traffic you can get it aint much that bandwidth limit would exceed.
ask them to show you the website statistics & ask them to increase your bandwidth to atleast 50 GB without increasing the price no need to pay them extra if they dont agree change the host.
