Re: new trends…yukh!
If a person decides not to wear undergarments for whatever reason, thats their business… they shouldnt have to worry about freaks roaming the streets with super duper x-ray vision to see whose wearing any… ![]()
Re: new trends....yukh!
right. so if you're out and there is some girl wearing ultra low rise jeans and she sits down to show her thong or butt crack to the world, which can't help be noticed, that's being perverted is it?
say/think whatever you want about salz given her other posts but if girls are wearing practically transparent lawn outfits with bras on display and with slits on their kameez's that come up to their hips and no tameez in the way they carry themselves.. well, it's obvious what the result will be.
If some people had a tad bit more hayaa/modesty...see through lawn would be the least of our worries. If the girls in paki or anywhere for that matter actually realized what they were doing and how forbidden it is they wouldnt walk around showing their bras or panties but the fact is they know it but choose to neglect it. May Allah help our Ummah and protect us all.
ok i am new on this forum, and i don't know salz at all...but I do think you guys are wrong in using such words as "pervert"....wheter you are a guy or a girl , young or old, when an incident like that happens right in front of you, you do for a moment (although totally unintentionally) notice it.
the point about lawn suits fabrics being ultra fine and thin to the point of carrying this risk of exposure is correct (no x-ray vision is needed ppl, it is Ultra thin)....but I don't know if these girls are doing this on purpose as a trend or is it unintentional?
the weather is so hot in pakistan , ooper say bijli ki load shedding...wearing a chameez or a tank top underneath a lawn suit forexample can be hell in that weather... I guess the same goes for other undergarments (including panties). I personally have never lived in pakistan, and have only visited on vacations but i do know how hot it gets there...if these girls are not going to wear chameez and other type of underwear due to hot weather, they need to be a little careful about the colours/prints of lawn they choose, or the length of qameezes etc...and be aware of the risk of exposure so they can avoid it in other ways.
A few years back i asked my mom, why are lawn prints and clours so bright in pakistan...all the lawn suits she had brought back from pak were dark coloured (like dark red, black, dark blue etc)...I didn't like them, since comparatively here in western wear the summer colours tend to be light and soothing like white, cream, light blue etc.
but I guess dark and heavly printed lawn suits do have the advantage of hiding you up a little bit. forexample if I wear an offwhite lawn qameez I would definitely need a chameez ...I don't like the bra showing look...it looks paindu plus its not the most modest of looks. with a darker colour you can some times get away with not wearing a camisole or chameez. as far as panites go, once you get used to wearing them, I cant imagine how you can not wear them on one occasion (for whatever reason, hot weather etc).
Re: new trends....yukh!
^yup..totally agree
Re: new trends....yukh!
Not wearing underwear- FOR WHATEVER REASON- is gross! x
Re: new trends....yukh!
panties or no panties, don't really care, but see through shalwar kameez is gross! i think the ones that are denying probably wear it themselves :p
i completely agree seriously.
multinickers should be banned.
WHo is a multinicker here? and where has she shown her legs..?:p
^Atleast she shud post things that are true! I didn't see a single girl that was dressed that way.
Exactly! There you go, i got to these markets all the time.. i dont see such girls, hardly 1-2 after 15-20 trips!

Tt is unbearably hot here sometimes. :( Last year the temperature rose to 48 degrees once and the load shedding was also off those 4 days. I am not justifying the girls who do this but when it gets soooo hot, the light is gone for hours, when some people don't even have ACs .. no one even wants to wear any clothes talk about panties. Wearing or not wearing panties is totally ones own personal matter and their own discretion. What i totally agree with Salz here is the fact that no one should wear see-through clothes. When i go to the market, i normally choose lighter colours because i am attracted to them but the first most important thing i check is that the shalwar is not see-through. I do always, what ever the weather is,i always wear a shameez in summers, i do feel very hot in it but i always feel comfortable with it. As for shalwar, i just leave the dress if the shalwar is see-through no matter how much i am dying to get the dress.
Mostly, what happens is that girls here wear white shalwars and get different shirts and dupattas to go with them. White Shalwars is everyone's favourite wear in summers. Last week i went to get some white shalwars for myself and all the shalwars available were thin because no one wears thicker shalwars in this heat. This might be the reason that everything is showing.
Overall, girls should alwayss wear shameez under their shirts. Shalwars are a problem when it comes to see-thru stuff but be a bit careful and bear with getting a bit thicker material even if you feel hot in it.:)
Panties or no panties I was even surprised to see the short and tight fitting pants/capries. Siting down almost half of the leg is visible as these rest bearly below the knee.
Re: new trends....yukh!
when i went to Pakistan two years ago, we were at a restaurant eating and this family comes in the lady is wearing strapless kaamez and its so transparent and it was white, under it she was wearing a black bra. u could see everything all the men in the restaurant were just staring. i was like isn't she even a little embarrassed??
Re: new trends....yukh!
panties or no panties..see through or not..its ones personal thing..honestly i dont care wht others r wearin..n we shouldnt pass judgements on others for wht they r wearin..even if they arnt wearin anythin ..duh..just coz we r livin in pakistan doesnt give us a birthright to critisize others..u can wear abaya if u wanna but for gods sake dont critisize other ppl..n for sum reason i find her threads really bizarre..
Re: new trends....yukh!
perverted or not,
multinickers
should
be
banned
what exactly is a multinicker?

An incident doesn't mean that you can start generalizing people and claim that almost all girls walk around like that.
^ aai haaai...dont start the cat fightz again pleeez!
Re: new trends....yukh!
I am not starting a cat fight. I am just saying that there is no need to generalize.
Re: new trends....yukh!
^ yes Lusi you are right... you shouldn't generalize...if you meet 1 person who is behaving a certain way, that means you can't generalize that behaviour to everyone... if you meet 100 ppl (instead of 1) who are behaving a certain way , if you are smart, you still won't generalize that behaviour to everyone....because there might be still 1 or 10 or whatever number of ppl per that 100 who are still not conforming... so the point of not generalizing is a really important and valid one... why didn't people just make that point in the thread earlier on, instead of the use of such words as 'pervert' or what not..
salz ko mein jaanti nahi, but whatever, as an outsider reading the thread i could see (that those words such as 'pervert' etc) were a bit unreasonable and hurtful,
baqi larai lari maaf karo , Allah ka ghar saaf karo... lol... kids used to use that line in school...
to each their own, jo jisko pehana hota hei pehantay hein, u cant really force /change/control ppl into behaving a certain way...it doesnt work when governments or what ever authorities try to force islamicization of ppl with regards to clothing etc..it has to come from with in
