Kashmir was all good before 1988, read about operation Gibraltor first. It was when Soviets left afghanistan these mujaheddin soldiers were directed towards India. And mess was created, for Secession to occur, pakistan has to complete Phase III, which means direct intervention to liberate kashmiris like what we did for Bengalis, untill then we both can shout from our side of border, anyways Kashmir is safer for ordinary citizen of India more than National capital
