Things work the same way on the internet as they do in any other , method of starting and nurturing a relationship. People used to have these question about starting and nurturing relationships over telephone , which was much more passive way as compared to Internet.

I know of some people who got married after meeting online. At one time, I know there were others who were intending to get married though I never got to know the outcome. Also, on the internet it’s much easier to find like-minded people. Of course, it’s easier to run into frauds online too. There was this other incident in one online community I once frequented, where there was this guy who “dated” this girl online, only to find out that she was really a he after about a year.
