Salaam everyone!
I just have a few minutes here so I have to keep it really short... My mom was in severe pain for 2-3 days and ultimately we were told that she needs immediate surgery to remove her gall bladder, and we took her to the best hospital here. The surgery was delayed for a day, because of which she had some respiratory problems. Yesterday after the surgery she didnt fully recover like she was supposed to within 2 hours and so she had to be taken to the ICU immediately. That was the most tense and testing moment in my entire life, not just for me but my entire family. When I was told about her post surgery condition, even someone who is very strong physically could not bear it and right infront of the ICU I collapsed and felt light headed, but luckily there were nurses around who immediately took care of me.
Right now my mom is still on a ventilator, but her condition has become alot stable than before. This is all because of your duas and wishes. The worse has passed, but she still has a difficult ordeal to pass. She is the most patient and gentle person in this world. Please continue to pray for, like you did. I cannot thank you friends enough for your prayers and thoughts. There is nothing more valuable in this world than your mother.
I also noticed alot of you sent me PMs, and it hurts me but right now I have to head back and take care of my mom so I wont be able to reply as yet. I cannot use a laptop or even a cell phone in the ICU room because the signal might interfere with the equipment there. Inshallah the next time I reply here, I should have good news!

Hello everyone! I have good news, my mom was succesfully weaned from the ventilator, and she is able to breath on her own. She made a remarkable recovery according to the docs. She is still in the ICU because they want to make sure there will be no problems, so keep the prayers coming please!! I shall keep you updated more often now that her condition is much better!
p.s. we've all heard the phrase 'maa ke payoon talley jannat hoti hai', but its only now I finally understood that statement! Theres nothing more beautiful in this world than mothers!
