ooh...there's a reallly reallly great and affordable videographer company called prince productions by samie seyal in CT and they cover the general area around here too. i'm really happy with everything they did for my wedding. they were soo nice about all my requests, provided extra lighting, helped me find DJs, and just in general were great to work with.
however there is a photographer/decor/makeup artist named Sonia C (sonia choudhary) who lives in CT and i WOULD NOT recomment her to anyone...not only did she overcharge with little things like "set up time" and "tax" and "overtime" she also didnt take any pictures of the rukhsati even though it was included in the time she charged for. when later on i asked her why there were no rukhsati pics she's like "oh i've noticed most brides think its too personal n private so i just dont bother takin the pics" .. i mean atleast she could've asked me abt it beforehand. also her makeup kinda sucks...i mean she's good at making already-pretty girls look even prettier with her makeup but with an average normal face like me she did a pretty bad job at my trial session. there was also this other bride i know who used her for makeup and regrets it so bad now cuz she looked horrendous on the day! last but not least she took 5 months to get teh pictures of my wedding printed and mailed to me! FIVE MONTHS FOR NOT EVEN THAT GREAT PICS! and she won't send you like a CD or any type of digital images that are editted so you can't get them printed anywhere else BUT from her. wtf?
Hey try googling AA Film Productions. It is located by Edison Area. My bro had Adnan do the photography and video done by him for the wedding and Reception. His video and Album are the best I have seen MashAllah. I believe he charged them like $4000-5000 for both days...If you want I can privately send u some of the studio shots of my sister in law...MashAllah she is beautiful as it is but it was all done so well...
I was just going to say AA film productions as well. Adnan bhai is super sweet and my engagement photo session was awesome. Booking him for the wedding too. Go to his place and check out some albums, he is really reasonable and has a variety of packages suiting your budget. :)

Has anyone here dealt with CB Art photo and video? They're based out of Maryland. The pictures look good but the videography is not too impressive? I saw their ad in a south Asian bridal magazine. Any comments about them?
