not entirely. Both are sherlock holmes adaptation. Premise and execution all very different.

BBC sherlock was brilliant though! too bad it was just 6 episodes in all.

Another season is in progress, just too bad that we will have to wait a long while to see it since the schedule of the stars is too packed.
