NBA Playoffs are here

NETS beat the CELTICS 103-92
Great game, just like the previous 2 games, Celtics made the comeback but New Jersey had different ideas.

Man this playoffs are the most exciting I've ever seen.

If you take last year where Lakers swept all teams in the West and then had an easy win over 6ers 4-1.

No doubt whomever wins the east but the west will easily take the playoffs.

Kings are doing great and they have a really good chance of finishing the series in the staple center, I just can't wait.

But the problem is that in 2 days the football wc is going to start and I won't be able to watch the playoffs because I'll be sleeping that time.

Nets

Game 6 tonight at 6 pacific 9 eastern...

FOr the kings to win this game, Webber is going to have to step up, he is going to need to get to the basket and stop horrible from taking double digit boards...
he is going to need to be big in defensive rebounding...second chance points will be lethel especially with shaq standing under the basket...

Bibby is going to have to play the way he has played so far... he would just need to keep it together in teh 3rd together

Christie would not to put a sock on kobe and limit him to hard one-on-one or one-on-two outside shots...don't let kobe penetrate the defense

Turk is gonna have to be big in defense and shot well to fill Peja's spot. and him and jackson would need to penetrate the lakers offense/defense... and get bibby / webber easy open shots...

Thats all my opinion so lets see what happens
GO KINGS GO!!!!

Lakers Lakers All The Way!

This is what makes this game exciting!!!
LAKERS FORCE GAME 7 beating Kings 106-102

Game 6: O’Neal scores 41 points, 17 rebounds and Bryant 31 pts. and 11 boards, to pull L.A. past Kings and into decisive Game 7 Sunday @ 4:30 PST

The distress signal for the Kings came early on.
S-0-S.
Same Old Shaq. Serious Omen, Sacramento.
Seeya On Sunday.

Kobe said: "The thing that bothered us, everybody was counting us out, We’ll go to Sacramento and see what’s what. It’s going to be a fun game.
“We’re the champs and they’re going to have to take it from us.”

Shaq said: "“The pressure’s on them, We play well in their building.”
“You have to foul me to stop me, Period.”

“A funny thing happened last night,” O’Neal said. “I was sleeping, with my little daughter sleeping on me. She was slobbing, I was slobbing. The phone rang about 2:30. It was Kob. He was like, ‘Big Fella, I need you tomorrow. Let’s make history.’”

Shaquille O’Neal emotes after scoring a basket in the fourth quarter. It was a common sight Friday night, when he had 41 points.

Eastern Conference: Jason Kidd hits third triple-double (15 points, 13 assists, 13 rebounds) of series and lifts New Jersey past Boston, 96-88, and into NBA Finals

Kidd became the first player in 35 years to have three triple-doubles in one series. He joined the company of Oscar Robertson (1963) and Wilt Chamberlain (1967)

In my opinion the true MVP of the year. He played the New Jersey Nets into the NBA Finals for the first time in team history.
"I would love to win a championship," Kidd said. "Maybe then there won't be any critics or doubters."

Doubters were easy to find last summer when the Nets acquired Kidd and he boldly predicted that the perpetually downtrodden franchise would be able to win 40 games. People are now shaking their heads at the Nets for a different reason, giving grudging admiration to a franchise that won two ABA titles but only one NBA playoff series prior to this year.

The Nets are the first team since the 1977-78 Seattle SuperSonics to make it to the finals after failing to qualify for the playoffs the previous season.

I had a chance to watch Kidd up close when he was still at CAL and played vs. UCLA at Pauley Pavillion during UCLA's run at the NCAA National Championship back in 94-95.

Great victory and the “cry baby” did it’s magic don’t you think tipz?
Btw Chris Webber scored 28 and was the best scorer against the Lakers…what you think of that?

Well done LAKERSZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!

Chris Webber played his best game of the series, scoring 26 pts and Bibby scored 23.

This time around their coach is crying :
Coach Rick Adelman says: "I just feel sorry for our team, Cause they did everything they could to win the game. It’s just a shame, It’s a real shame…

He is referring to the officiating obviously.
He better throw some real defenders at Shaq who dont do much flop acting and actually try to stop the most dominant player in the game

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/wink.gif

This is what Laker Reject, Valde Divac cried:

Divac: “Why don’t they just let us know in advance?” he said, obviously referring to the officials. “We come here. We go back to Sacramento. Back here. Just let us know.”
Translation: The officials have already decided before the opening tipoff who is going to win.

I think Lakers need to shoot well to win at ARCO. They are really struggling. What happened to Derek Fisher. He was so good last year.

AK

No Doubt Game 7 is gonna be exciting between Lakers and Kings.

It was a good game by Lakers and Derek Fisher was able to handle Mike Bibby, the key play from Kings side.

In other words, if the same pressure goes on Kings, Lakers might defend their title. Otherwise, by losing free throws and fouls, Kings might be the Champs of 2002.

Can’t wait to watch this coming game.

LAKERS LAKERS ALL THE WAY

http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/hula.gif

I don't why every Laker fan has a image that whomever looses to the Lakers, cries after their lost.
Not everyteam is like Lakers, they don't whine about their losses, like yours truly LAL have done in the past, they look for the next game, and there was some unneccary fouls where given in favor of the Lakers but what can you do.

Webber, Bibby, Jackson played great but Divac has to go next year, he is no good for the team.
Lets see if Peja can find his form again in game, so they can knockout the arrogant and annoying Lakers out of the playoffs.

good game...lakers won
but adelman didn't cry... oh maybe it sounded like a cry to you because you guys are used to crying everytime you loose...
