Gora Kala, Amal had already made it clear in the beginning, PPP thread is only about positive stuff done by PPP in the last four years, you are more than welcome to voice your opinion about PPP in other threads in PA. :)
It is important to note that discussions regarding the reopening of NATO supply lines through Pakistan are still ongoing. The details will continue to emerge, and we hope to reach a resolution in the very near future**. **Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani had also made it clear that NATO’S invitation to the summit was not conditional on reopening the supply routes. Meanwhile, it is heartening to see our nations working hard to improve the level of cooperation and coordination. We’ve wasted enough time. The need of the hour is to get on the same page and iron out our differences. As Foreign Minister of Pakistan Hina Rabbani said, “When there’s a debate about Afghanistan taking place, in your opinion, should a country like Pakistan, which is a responsible regional player, an important neighbor, and a country that has huge stakes in peace and stability in Afghanistan, not participate? The spillover effect of instability in Afghanistan is instantaneous in Pakistan, and if there is stability in Afghanistan, the effect of that in Pakistan too should be instantaneous. I will completely disagree with anyone at all who says that Pakistan should not participate in such a forum. This is the question for Pakistan – what message do we want to give the world? Are we an enabler, a facilitator, a responsible country on the road that leads to Afghan stability, or do we want to give the message that we are a blocker, a disabler, to the international efforts towards peace and stability. We want to give a very strong message that the Afghan people’s future is important to us, that we would like to enable peace and stability in Afghanistan to the best of our abilities, and we have been doing that at great cost to Pakistan.”
RAfghan people are important no doubt but being pakistanis for me the interest of my own people is more supreme, the Americans have destroyed Pakistan as well with their flawe afghan policy. And alqaeda which was holed in Afghanistan alone is now spread throughout the world. Willingly or unwillingly the Americans are repeating another Vietnam here, and God forbade we don't want another Cambodia.
Are you fairly assessing the situation in Afghanistan before criticizing the U.S.? Is it not a known fact that Afghanistan was oppressed under the dictatorship of the Taliban? The people of Afghanistan were regularly beaten and punished by the Taliban for the sake of stamping out their authority. The nation of Afghanistan had no hope in sight, and freedom had become an unimaginable thought. And contrary to your belief, Al Qaeda’s terrorist network had become a global threat long before our arrival. The bombing of the Khobar towers in Saudi Arabia, the attack on the USS Cole in Yemen, and the Embassy bombings in Nairobi are all attributed to Al-Qaeda’s terrorist activities. And let’s not forget the attacks on 9/11 on our home soil. That was the final straw that left us with no choice but to go after the organization responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent civilians. The dismantling of their terrorist network from Afghanistan was a major blow to their organization, along with the killing of their leader OBL. You can rest assured that the world is a lot safer today with the ruin of this organization. Today, the changes in Afghanistan are there for everyone to see. A democratically elected government is heading the country. People are no longer living under fear, and freedom and independence have become a reality. ANSF’s have begun assuming responsibility for security, and that day is not far when they will no longer require our assistance. Could we have imagined the changes taking place today a decade ago? How can anyone deny that Afghanistan is not climbing towards a better future? We have also never denied Pakistan’s importance and cooperation in all this. If anything, you see us regularly emphasize the importance of joint cooperation for the sake of achieving our common objectives. We are working hard to overcome our differences and get on the same page regarding the WOT. We don’t want to leave the job half done; therefore, it is important for us to devise a strategy that will resolve our differences with Pakistan and leave the region safe and secure.

and now those people have been liberated from the burden of life.
You are certainly not leaving the job half done. That is why, you have ambushed and killed Pakistani Soldiers in Salala Check Post. And because it is part of the plan to kill Pakistanies and take this land (nuclear technologies specifically) in your total control, it is important to harm the country as much as you can. This is reason enough to see why no appology is made, and that it was intentional. An unintentional act or error in judgment warrants an immediate appology but the fact that it has not been made clearly proves the ill-intentions of US/NATO army.
Having said that, $5000.00 each trailer for NATO supply through Pakistan is extremely low demand. Even I ended up paying close to $3000.00 in my home move for just about 1500 miles here in US several years back. This included taking two cars for that distance too. If $250.00 is enough for taking more than 10 home’s worth of supplies (plus nukes/weapons) in a trailer from south to north of Pakistan, then, kindly start a CENTCOM based public service moving company in USA that can have a fixed rate of $250.00 anywhere in the country. That will be a great service of you to the nation.
Lets assume all the news that your people brought out against Taliban were true i.e. beating people, now look at this: every other day one American/NATO soldier wakes up, picks up his gun and kills bunch of civilians while they are sleeping, they caused no issue, they were not “stomping” on US/NATO authority… now what is the difference in beating and killing again? Yeah, the killers are never punished, only “being prosecuted” at best.
USA is acting as a feudal lord of this world and nothing else. Only humans living in its soil are worthy of being human because it's all about their national interest. The rest of the world can go to hell for all they care.
