May be this has been the reason for selecting it as national flowers. Otherwise, I doubt whether it is available in all areas of Pakistan. There is not many reference to chameli in poetry and folklore of Pakistan.

Exactly, lol. You hardly see any Jasmine flowers in Lahore, however the flower *Raat ki Raani *(don’t know the English name) is a grace of most gardens in Lahore.
