now coming to hyderabad of today well MQM nazim did do some of the works, lately some improvements in the city were seen but still lot needs to be done its really messy crappy city specially qasimabad area and old areas .

problem with hyderabad is it is neither teetar nor bater problem is it was planned badly or i may say not planned for the way people influxed in it and even new colonies are badly planned specially in qasimabad/nasimnagar area.

If Hyderabad was divided by Musharraf in 2005 to benefit MQM than why Musharraf divided Larkana in 2005 too, rather divided many districts in 2005? Was division of larkana and other districts to benefit MQM too?

Obviously division of larkana and other districts in 2005 along with division of Hyderabad shows that Hyderabad was not divided to benefit MQM or for any political reasons, but it was an administrative decision to benefit the people living in those cities who were getting neglected due to one reason or another.

So, either you saying NO (that means, city did not get any benefit due to division) is true or your later statement is true … both cannot be true, can it?

Fact is that, Hyderabad as city was neglected and government wanted betterment for Hyderabad and people living in Hyderabad. Actually cities have different problems than that of rural areas and to make city one district separate from rural areas has several advantages and is more desirable. I believe that must be the reason for division of Hyderabad, Larkana, etc in 2005 that is to make these cities develop and prosper.

Hyderabad obviously gained a lot due to administrative division and thus the division served the people living in the city well … and probably same can be said regarding division of Larkana and other districts.

Anyhow, if the division was so bad than all division that happened during 2005 (I think, several new districts were created in 2005) should all go, rather all division into various districts that happened after 1947 should go and thus Thatta district and Jamshoro district should become part of karachi district (both were once part of Karachi district).
