^Same gender....enemies decreed by nature. Tom's always chasing Jerry.....but never eats him. And they can't stand it when the other is giving attention to someone else (like Tom to his lady cat-friend....etc). Lots of romantic tension there.

His parents were very narcissistic about him. Cinderella is one of the more ancient fairy tales that is a part of many cultures (Chinese, Korean, etc)...so the name of the prince varies.
