That poor girl is asking for a short sleeve thingy, and you jump and shout about praying without clothes. Nauzbillah!
Get your mind out of wherever it is right now.
Thank you.
there's no need to get hyper brother! i really asked a serious question to understand the extent of yr views regarding hijab during salah.....according to u, if a person is in the privacy of their own house then he/she can pray in whatever kind of clothes, cause btwn them and Allah ta'ala nothing is indecent(owing to the privacy)....so ok i get tht praying naked is not right according to u...then what's the limit of 'not' being dressed when in ones own house?...we all have different views and tht's why we're here to understand and know regarding the different beiliefs/views etc(well i am cause i want to understand and know more abt religion)..
i would appreciate if u kindly make this clear to me without getting personal or criticising in a rude manner.
peace
.......so ok i get tht praying naked is not right according to u...then what's the limit of 'not' being dressed when in ones own house?....
Funny that you assume things and make up things as you go.
Let me ask you this simple question.
If you had a close relationship with someone. Would you then worry about pleasing him/her or you would go around on the forum asking every Tom, Dick, Abdullah as to what kind of perfume you need to put on, what kind of color of clothes you need to wear, brush your teeth or not, take shower or not, eat halwa or heat bakra, drink lassi or chai.
Would you go around asking these details on the street (or virtual street in case of gs)?
I wouldn't.
I would say my private affairs are my own business. I won't go ask the corner hulwai, or the Mullah, or the Mouazzin as how to run my private, intimate affair.
Having said that.
If you want to pray naked or clothed or wearing grass skirt or wearing shuttlecock burqa,
IT IS YOUR business.
Got it?
Let me say it again.
IT IS YOUR business. And even someone tells you what to do, do not listen to him/her.
Keep your ibadah in your home private between you and Allah swt. What you wear or do not wear is upto you.
Islam Means to be obedient of what we r ordered to do. Then our own reasoning cant be imposed. Its condition for offering prayer to have such clothes that cover awrah. This conditon may have some relaxation for the person who has nothing to cover awrah n Alhamdulilah we r not such a case.
so, Y to go for a long n baseless discussion?
Also its nothing bad when u see something happening wrong n u try to correct it by telling the thing that might be not known by that person. So if u see something wrong around u n u try to correct it by ur hand, by ur tounge or by thinking its wrong, then its part of ur Emaan.
now please dont mix personal affairs with a mumins relation with Allah ta’ala, because for our relation with Him, we have a certain limit which has been clearly defined Alhamdulillah as far as i understand.
now u brougth up a new thing saying that u dont need to be ‘completely’ dressed up while praying as Allah ta’ala knows everything so why hide and all.
now being a person lacking in knowledge i asked a question as i am confused and rightly am entitled to ask, i would have appreciated it if u answered properly,
but as that is not the case tehn i’ll just tell you one thing, when you say something and someone genuinely asks you something then getting hyper, worked up and all is totally un-called for.
ps dint find any humor in my post nor did i make any assumptions, all i did was ask some questions to clear soemthing, and in turn u ‘assume’ that am trying to be funny and all
:k:
this post has a strong message which we need to digest. (my views, no one is obliged to follow or confirm with me)
this thread is full of arrogant people who have the attitude that "even if i'm wrong, i will not give you the pleasure of correcting me, even if your advice is sincere, and will continue to follow in my ways"
"O Children of Adam! wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: But waste not by excess, for Allah loveth not the wasters."
Look at it this way, do we go to a wedding in our t-shirts? Do we go to an interview wearing t-shirt and not suits? When going to dawats even, do we not take care of our appearance? Then why when presenting ourselves before ALLAH, why do we shy away from this? Insh'Allah we should all try to dress with respect in all of our prayers.
