Re: Najam Sethi’s 35 Punctures
Feudalism and family politics ruined PPP whereas MQM became another violent criminal gang. As long PTI doesn’t go either way and stick to their pressure group politics, they will survive, if not remain successful. The fact that the party genuinely crosses all ethnic, class, regional and secraterian boundries leaves enough hope for it’s future. Imran will probably retire into peaceful countryside in what 6-7 years, but he must leave behind a geuine political platform for young politicans and activists.
The problem no one really acknowledges the good work PTI is doing in KPK, media hardly ever highlights positive local developments irrespective of which party initiates it. Loads of positive initiatives are coming to surface. Instead of grilling Imran Khan for things he’s been saying for past 13 years and pretending everyone’s getting to hear his views on the War for the first time ever, how about media actually pay some attention to what promised changes he’s bringing to KPK? I see lots of real exciting news small local newspapers, but such positivity is never reflected in websites like Dawn. It’s like they are write news for their NRP readers.
With such a huge young population, the Pakistan media has intentionally failed to create a sense of hope, optimism and confidence. In all honesty, Pakistan will deeply regret this one day!
I hope and pray that Pakistanis see the end of this war, so finally they can move forward and focus on building a great nation they deserve to be. Just wrap it up and stop the violence.
