what did she write about marina mornings?? i love the show, her guests are boring sometimes, but marina's personality and charm makes the show a winner. please share her review!

TV Times May 2008 Issue

Zehra Mehdi writes her review about morning shows in TV Times Magazine; This one is about Marina Mornings:

The show which is done by our very own Marina Khan called “Marina Mornings” is worth mentioning. Marina started hosting the show around a year ago with her usual style using Minglish as the medium of communication. The show--when started—had a very simple format and was not very confusing.
The guest list used to be good with Marina making the discussion interesting by adding a dash of humour and a few laughts. The cooking expert Samina and the exercise lady Rukhsana also add to the interest factor, but lately the show has lost it’s edge as it has become too jumbled up and the guest list is becoming too boring. Some of the guests seem to overpower the host and it seems that Marina loses the control of the show whereas in some cases it seems that the host has done no homework on the guest or there is nothing to discuss.

Another show worth mentioning is “Morning With Hum” hosted by the calm and simple Gazal. This is one show where the host does not try to overpower the show by her personality and strictly follows a format. The show has a very bland yet soothing taste and has nothing unpredictable going for it. So whenever nobody else is making an effort to get my attention, I switch to Gazal for my morning meditation. Just one piece of advice, they should limit the number of doctors to perhaps once a week as you can’t take kidney stone and liver transplantation talk early in the morning.

eww another one of those show where people praise that drama ugh. i am getting to hate those kind of shows now. and the worst part is that nadia dont' even watch meri adhori muhabbat you can clearly tell by the way she talks about it. but she still praise it so much. it is so so so annyoing. i would just love if she invite those guest and talk about normal stuff and not concentrate on promoting that drama. it's pathetic marketing skills to promote that drama
