yesterday it was the vice principal of city school dubai, discussing education and schooling esp. for younger kids, good show. today it was pupoo sumrat, a filmi dance cheroegrapher, interesting...tomorrow its gonna be rahat fateh ali, really looking fwd to it, he is an amazing talent, has really carried nusrat fateh ali's torch well. i do not think the show is going off-air anytime soon, as long as viewership is there(still rated the top morning show in pakistan and abroad), sponsors are there, they are making money, the show will go on. and i believe all these controversies for the show are actually better for its ratings! in the US they actually create controversies themselves whenever ratings of any show suffers, people tune in to watch the chaos!

nadia khan is always bad-mothing zoheb hassan.now he's a very decent and sober guy. the only reason why nadia is againts him is that he doesn't smile at her stupid sarcastic jokes. infact, when she was interviewing him in karachi for the new year special , he snubbed her for making some stupid comment.way to go zoheb! koi to hai jis nay nadia ko theek kiya. to me nadia seems like a very small minded person. she is only intelligent enough to interview meera and anjuman. call a sophisticated and educated celeb , and see how miserable she looks.

i saw papu samrat's shwo hehe it was kinda fun esp when they made him dance lol poor guy....BUT what i noticed here again really pissed me which is that nadia tends to ignore her guests when they mite nt be very popular like pappu...or maybe she jsut doesnt have any manners cuz she was tryin 2 read the mails/sms while he was talkin 2 her...dat i think is so rude. Plus wats up with her wardrobe suddenly....have the karmas and funk asia ditched her!!!

i give nadia credit for not pretending...she is who she is...love her or hate her, despite being so unpopular here, people still talk about her, that says something. now i prefer 'marina mornings' myself, i loved todays show with sania saeed...but i'm still open to diversity and willing to give nks a chance, just because pakistani media has acquired this diversity and azadi after a very looooooooong struggle of being repressed. i'd rather have the choice of switching channels then to be stuck with no choices.
when geo was shut down, nomatter what the reasons behind it, it was very very sad to witness. nadia's show kept broadcasting live for the audiences in UK and USA despite losing out a HUGE chunk of revenue from Pakistan...and being the producer herself i'm sure she felt the pinch. but what i appreciated was that she did not bring politics to her show, she could've said anything, callers were very emotional about the situation but she did not stoke the fire further by being anti-govt, she was very diplomatic and did wonderful shows to distract viewers from the depressed state Pakistan was in, loved her show on benazir bhutto when she interviwed bb's best friend in dubai. ok my point is that she fulfilled the host's responsiblity by putting personal feelings aside, thats a mark of a good show. give her a chance, she stumbles, and then she makes a comeback.

Sorry i dont agree with you at any of this - i rather felt that Nadia as usual had an excuse of spreading smiles when the country was in a state of turmoil, i rather felt as if she herself wanted to get away and didn't have any feelings towards what was happening in the country...everything she says and does seems so fake to me, but you have your opinion and i have mine..

INDEED......................DAVID FROST was his name who's famous FROST REPORT on LWT (London Weekend Television) became quite popular only to end..with a dismal note on account of the HOST becoming over confident, powerful thus belittling the guests also!

Arjay, I respect you a lot. And I can understand how hurt Nadia's treatment might have left you, even if she weren't so close to you as to call you 'daddy'. To treat any senior like that is very sad. However, I have noticed recently that you are constantly saying one thing or another about her. In my humble opinion, it doesn't become a man of your stature. For I had been hoping you would be above all that. i.e. wasting your breath over petty issues.
Please don't think I am criticising you or anything...just an opinion...

I was feeling the same thing uncle Arjay but I didnt say anything because everyone is free to express his/her thoughts, but just because falcon raised this issue I would like to add that Before this incidence you always said how good she is and all tht, but all of a sudden you turned against her and saying stuff against her off and onn, I dnt think person like you who is mature and educated enough should ignore what happened and move on, so just allow it :-)
