Yep.... thoughtful and dedicated criticism...highlighting the weak points is Universally accepted....but not a treatment like I read in this thread...No sir, not acceptable at all.

...magar uncle agar ham loog criticize nahi karain gay tou on logon ko pata kaisay chalay ga kay woh loog kitnay pani mai hain?? just because a tv channel give them money to run a stupid show, and some people "just so can hear their name on tv" write khushaamdi type emails to them to telling them that they are doing great, or some girls going crazy over his looks praising him for doing such worthless show, yeh loog samajhtay hian kay yeh koi bohat hi acha kaam kar rahay hian. in ko pata chalna chahiyeh kay yeh kaisa kaam kar rahay hian, or har dafa sirf critisizm say koi kaam nahi chalta, kabhi kabhi bohat harsh hona parta hai.

guys,sahir lodhi is not so bad as u people are talking...and his show is not like the usual shows..every time in his show,one guest is a common man .for example a shopkeeper,a pan wala,a burger wala,a watch man,a clerk... and i think none of the show on any channel have these people as guests... i m not defending him but i am expressing my thoughts about him as u people did... :)

saher lodhi is so crap. I think he doesn’t have much of an intellect . I find his show boring. all he does is do stupid stuff like totay ka faal nikalna(how dumb), dancing and shouting with loud music and thats how he covers up for the lack of substance in his show. He doesn’t have any personality and asks trite questions.I also found him acting shahrukh style ( quite disappointing that the mental level of our tv artists/anchors has gone down).
sajid hassan is much much better than him.in fact, there’s no comparison.

woho…i myself dont like that faal wala section but i think its wrong to say the show sucks just cuz of that section. And you might not like the dancing and shouting part but people do…and i am sure you do understand that the show is not made only for you :). LOL! Yes i am a sahir lodhi fan but i am not biased so i would agree with you that the some parts of the show can be improved but overall its a gr8 show. I absolutely love the concept of the show which is to bring a popular person with a common man…i think thats really exciting. Also, i think he is not only a goodlooking, talented guy But has a heart of gold and is very respectful towards everyone and that should be appreciated even if you find him ugly or whatever.

I think he has alot good going for himself still he is a pretty down to earth guy so i really don’t know where that “over confident” vibes you get from. I can understand if you guys don’t like him but atleast criticise with valid points.

Also, i will give you a better solution to control your anger…slap your face hard twice and you will be fine and the anger will be gone by than :P…lol just kidding (or am i?!?:p).

excuse me? you really think the way you are criticising is valid and people will actually take your words for it?. Also, you think he is not goodlooking or his show is worthless but is your opinion the word of god? Why do you feel what your opinion is what the truth is?. anyways, i hate sahir lodhi, not because of his hosting (i have hardly seen his show, but i have seen an ad of one of his show, and i hated it) i actually hate his acting and the amount of makeup he put on, specially in tv drama "bichrain gay ab kaisay"

As much as i disagree with any1's opinion on his looks but at the end of the day its subjective so you are entitled to your opinion. However i think what he does on his show is good and thats the fact. Its atleast hard for me to digest people criticising any1 him for his "the sahir lodhi show" as i think its quite obvious that the show has good intentions and have done good for alot of people. So my problem is with those who think they can disregard his show just cuz he also happens to sing and dance along with doing those great charity deeds there but heck every1 wl ignore that.

THIS IS TO INFORM ALL CONCERNED ON THIS THREAD THAT MY APPEARANCE AT NADIA KHAN SHOW HAS BEEN RE-SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY-18th APRIL at 8 AM UAE TIME. I got the info today evening from GEO-Dubai reason being some construction at GEO Studios, Dubai which will take 5 days. The last live program comes on WEDNESDAY-9 April of MANI...afterwhich there will be re-runs of some previous ones.

SO...I leave for Dubai on Thursday 17 April afternoon by Emirates and shall be staying at Desert Rose Hotel adjacent to the SPINNEYS at Bur Dubai near AL KHALEEJ Commercial Centre...opp: Ramada & Golden Sands.
