that is not what he said- he said something along the lines of how people should get along because they belonged to the SAME country at one point which was unfortunate to be seperated. not everyone has the same views about india and pakistan seperating, you're going to find many people who think pakistan should have never become an independent nation.
imtiaz ali(what a cheesy film he made..yuck)... he made a stupid comment like 'separating india into two countries was some stupid thing to do by some stupid blah blah'. and nadia kept on listening to his nonsense. though he was a guest and all but sometimes I wonder if our people and tv channels have any nationalism or patriotism in them. how can they promote such idiotic indians who talk rubbish about our country.

i saw the valentines day episode at work :) it's sad that they air it at 9 am when i am busy working but whenever i get time, i put it on and just watch it there. this one was really good because imtiaz ali seemed like a decent guy. also, i love nadia khan, she may be irritating but she is so full of life and so happy. it's always good to see people like that rather than people who just brag about their life or just b*tch about others (i.e juggun kazim)

unfortunate to be seperated???? WE don't think it was unfortunate.
I don't care what his opinion is but that doens't mean he can talk about our country in a dismissive way that too on our channel. he definitely said something like it was a stupid thing to do which I find offensive because I don't like somebody coming on our tv and then give such a high handed statement.you might not find it offensive but I definitely do.

yeah well you may have your views and he has his. maybe some people do find it sad that india and pakistan could not be one happy country and had to be seperated- i do not see anything wrong with that. he was not cursing our leaders or slamming down pakistan, he was just expressing sadness over the dispute of the two countries. i dont understand why people want to make such a big deal out of such things. respect other peoples' views just how you expect them to respect yours, it's that simple.

^ i agree...i also some1 who does not agree with any who says that the seperation was not needed but that doesnt mean i get offended when they express their opinion...they have a rite to express their opinion as much as i have the rite to nt like their opinion but i certaily not have the rite to have them nt say their opinion just cuz i dont agree with them...it is quite SIMPLE.

This is common sense all pakistanis agree partition was the right thing to do. so why come on a pak channel and give a controversial statement? . and he also said india and pakistan are one culture. how can it be one culture when we eat what they worship ? anyways, I don't want stretch the argument. na m nt regular watcher...i end up watchin mostly the repeat shows n that too only if i happen 2 surf the channels n c some interesting guest.

I loved NKS today. Jal band was invited & the duration of the show was also lenghtened.
During all the show it seemed like a tug of war going on between the host & the guests. But overall the show was interesting.
