I was not a fan of her morning show. It got on my nerves that she would frequently interrupt the guests with irrelevant or unnecessary questions and comments of her own when you’re eagerly waiting for the guest-expert to share some interesting info. Frequent baalon k jhatkay or hair flip…playing with hair was also an unnecessary distraction. I didn’t care for the “happy to you” section with the hand and head dance moves…don’t see what the big deal is. And sometimes I wish desi programs…including the cooking shows…would just do away with allowing callers to call with questions and comments…it detracts from the focus of the show.

Actually, Nadia started the trend of morning shows in our country. Intentionally or unintentionally , all other hosts try to imitate her style. Initially her show was really entertaining but later on (after shifting to geo) it became stupid with that happy to you dancing segment and derogatory digs at guests. But having said that, I still think she was a very intelligent anchor and a notch above the rest. She knew art of taking interviews. Made even boring guests interesting to listen to. Plus she was always very witty and spontaneous. Never at a loss for words.
More than that, I consider her a brilliant actress. Yet to see any actress play character like she did in Bandhan. She improvised a lot and worked on the nuances that made it so endearing. It was uninhibited and real performance. Only a few (if at all) actresses in sub-contitent can match her comic timming.

I heard, Amir Liaquat and Nadia are going to replace Fazool Qureshi on his morning show.
This is something to watch out for - cohosts — and woh bhi kiya lajawab co cost.

Nadia khan is quite active in the Isb social scene. Has lost oodles of weight and looks good. She goes by the name Nadia Aslam on fb if I m not mistaken
