NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

He was a deputy director of NAB and not a marriage counselor. Not knowing what kind of circumstances he might have faced and inability to sustain pressure goes only against him. While my heart goes out to his family, especially to his daughtres who even don't know what death is, I won't be having any sympathy for the deceased for dying an illegal and sinful death. But obviously we have to first wait for the investigation report.

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

I do not condone suicide, but then again we dont know what that guy went through. Deputy director is by the way grade 18 post, and the guy was against huge crocodiles.

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

Let us stick to it that we do not condone suicide. If young men like him start committing suicide in the face of pressure, then what sort of a future are we heading towards? Is this how the state machinery will work? With this kind of outspoken media working in the country, he was just am SMS away from a whole world of support if he was really against "huge crocodiles" and wanted to send an SOS. Supreme Court has never been so receptive to people in distress. Can we really believe that he had already exhausted all of his options except his room's ceiling fan?

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

Look at sachaydino here, the one spreading rumor is non other than Anwar Pasha but sachay does not have guts to accuse him of spreading rumor so he is attacking sohaib for spreading rumors :hehe:

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

This thread is propagated as NAB was standing on the shoulders of this unfortunate person. Due to his death now nothing could be done against corrupt. This logic is highly condemnable and speculations without any proof are rumors which unfortunately spread by moderators of this forum. I rightly pointed out that this is not Pakistan Rumor Forum, but Pakistan Affairs Forum.

Where is Suomota of CJ?

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

First of all, I have NOT spread any rumors. I have asked for a mere news source from our dear AP uncle. bhayee parh liya karayn pehle poora thread.

Secondly, tryping in red bold will not make your point anymore compelling.

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

Well, would other officers in NAB now proceed against the haram khors looking at what happened to their colleague? Do you believe it was a normal death because of natural causes?

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

Till today, it seems to be suicidal death. Unless someone prove otherwise and present the proof in court, it will be considered as suicidal (not normal) death.

I am not condoning his death. I am against any kind of speculations without any proof.

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

I did not know Anwer Pasha is a moderator.

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

Okay.. these are the new evidences which have surfaced..

  1. Deceased was being pressurized by higher authorities in NAB to sign a back dated document.
  2. He was planning to go to SC the next morning against the NAB authorities.
  3. His colleagues whom he informed about the pressures were concerned about his safety.

Under the circumstances the NAB chairman should immediately resign. PM should resign because a person has been killed investigating a case against him in highly suspicious manner because no impartial investigation can take place without the removal of these two persons.

Mysterious, moving text messages of Kamran Faisal surface

Umar Cheema
Tuesday, January 22, 2013

ISLAMABAD: The grief-stricken officers of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday went on a countrywide pen-down strike and locked their offices in protest against the killing of their colleague Kamran Faisal, as text messages by the RPPs scam case investigator have revealed that he was under pressure and concerned about his security.

“DG HR WANT AFFIDAVIT IN BACK DATE REGARDING CHANGE FROM CASE; KIA KAROON,” was among the text messages (reproduced without changes) that deceased Kamran Faisal exchanged with one of his close friends in NAB, three days before his mysterious death.

The friend responded to him not to do so, strictly advising him to switch off the mobile phone. “Lock ur room door from inside before sleeping”, he messaged Kamran.

His last message was from a friend, received at 7:58:41am on January 18, in which he wished him good luck, praying that Allah freed him ‘from all worries on this blessed day (Friday)’. By the time it was sent, Kamran had left this world of worries and his body was hanging inside his room.

As the mystery deepens about the alleged suicide of the NAB’s Assistant Director Kamran Faisal, his exchanges few days before death provide some missing links belying the NAB claims that he was removed from the case on Jan 7 before he committed ‘suicide’ and there was no pressure on him.

The text messages also give a tour inside the situation he was passing through, intensely under pressure from the bosses and deeply concerned about his personal safety.

After his death, Kamran’s friend and key witness to his situation is also under grave risk amid concerns and demands of the well-wishers for beefing up his security. There is also an exchange of messages between the two friends containing verses showing their profound love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

As the case is in the spotlight since his mysterious death occurred at the height of NAB’s tension with the Supreme Court, it is being said that the court may order the record of his phone calls and text messages either from cellular companies or from the agencies that have been authorized to conduct surveillance after the passage of a law of fair trial from parliament.

As for the messages about the anxiety following pressure from the NAB bosses, they started on January 15.A friend and colleague inquired from Kamran about his location at 9:46pm on January 15. He responded: “WITH DG HQ.” He continued: “DG HR WANT AFFIDAVIT IN BACK DATE REGARDING CHANGE FROM CASE.” In the same message, Kamran sought the friend’s opinion: “KIA KARUN (what should I do?).”

As there is no response from friend, he said: “CALL ME.” In the same message, he sent a verse about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): “kitab-e-hasti k her warq pe, jo nam-e-Muhammad raqm na hota…Wajud-e-hasti ubhar na sakti, wajud-eloh-o-qalam na hota…Zameen na hoti, falak na hota, Arab na hota Ajam na hota.” His friend continued those verses: “Ye mehfal-e-kon-o-makaan na hoti, ager wo SHAH-E-UMAM na hotay.”

Then the friend asked him if he was in office, he replied he had left the office and reached the hostel.

The next day on January 16, the same friend, concerned about Kamran, asked him about his location at 9:42:26pm. Then he added: “We r all worried abt u. kia ho raha ha aur wapsi kab ha (what are you doing and when expected to return?).”

Texting with reference to pressure on Kamran for submitting an affidavit from the back date, the friend advised him: “kabi mat dena apnay hath khud na katwana (Never give in to the affidavit demand. Don’t cut off your own hands yourself.”

There was no response from Kamran and the friend continued texting him the messages: “Progress???.” Then requests Kamran to visit him: “Aa jao na???.” Again that friend advised him not to give the affidavit: “Afidavit kabi mat dena apnay hath na katwana.” He continued at 10:41:11pm on January 16: “Good aur kal seedha SC jana Allah bless u (Go straight to SC tomorrow, God Bless you.”

The friend then sent a word of caution at 11:14:26pm on January 16: “Switch off ur mobile and lock ur room door from inside.” Agencies add: Wearing black bands onto their arms, the protesting officers of the bureau rejected the judicial commission headed by Justice (R) Javed Iqbal and demanded that the commission be headed by a serving judge of Islamabad High Court (IHC) or ex-director general FIA Tariq Khosa or Justice (R) Khalilur Rehman Ramday.

According to reports, the protest demonstrations we held at the NAB officers in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and other major cities. The protesting employees said that according to family Kamran Faisal had been murdered but the government was staging the drama of his suicide to mislead the public.

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

scary stuff. Maybe its takht-e-lahore, saazish, all that shebang.

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

ok fine..now we cannot not sympathize a deceased one because he had a **sinful death **per our religion...............whatever

yes Quaran says that "And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you." (Quran, chapter 4, verse 29) and this is the right message but not to sympathize a deceased one who suicides?...what callous thinking

I am sure that these type of things are added to religion by fake religious clerics ...

anyway I dont give a damn ..I do sympathize with him even if he committed suicide under immense pressure..

what the hell is sinful death!!!

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

^ u do give a damn, else u won't be here with ur comment.

Anyways... reading a few posts in this thread and it really feels at home. Shabash ae. It feels like once a PPP always a PPP... or MQM, or PTI or PLMN...
Instead of observing WHY this guy is dead, u see our friends pondering on his SUICIDE, and why its "SINFUL" or "ILLEGAL" ... and why I am going to bash him and post comments and look clever.

No wonder we r like this. Even on a forum, on the web we can't stop reveal our ideocracy.

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

PIcture circulating on fb and social media that shows Kamran Faisal's suicide was fake. Leaked from a mobile. Lets see if it turns out to be a hoax or true.

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

NAB has just confirmed that Kamran was murdered. sad!

following points were noted in NAB's report:

-the door had a push-button lock which could be pushed from inside and then door could be closed
-lights were off
-his feet were touching the table
-his neck did not get elongated due to hanging
-his eyes did NOT pop out
-his tongue was not sticking out
-the police claim that the forensic samples were sent to lab was found to be a lie.

Re: NAB Officer investigating Prime Minister found dead, hanging from ceiling fan

^ This report has been prepared by NAB officers who were colleagues of Kamran Faisal. It is not an official NAB report.
