I have a mixed reaction to this
"North Korea has the largest special forces, 120,000 troops, in the world"
In event of US occupation of North Korea, the special forces would be the key factor in a communist guerilla militia, as it is unlikely that the conscripts who make up the bulk of NK's troops would put up much resistance. Special forces tend to be ideologically motivated, however, and would probably fight to the death.
"North Korea can produce about 100 missiles a year. It began to make missiles in 1980"
If armed with conventional munitions, these would be unlikely to have a significant effect on the outcome of a war, perhaps only being useful for attacking South Korean airbases. They would be useless against US carrier groups, the primary component of US force projection during a war versus North Korea.
"North Korea began to build fortifications in 1960s. All key military facilities are built underground to withstand American bunker-buster bombs. North Korea has 8,236 underground facilities that are linked by 547 km of tunnels. Beneath Pyongyang are a huge underground stadium and other facilities. About 1.2 million tons of food, 1.46 million tons of fuel, and 1.67 million tons of ammunition are stored in underground storage areas for wartime use. "
These will be the US nightmare. There is no easy way around them, assuming that the underground fortifications do have airtight blast doors to resist vacuum bombing.
"North Korea has two fleets - the West Fleet and the East Fleet. The West Fleet has 6 squadrons of 320 ships and the East Fleet has 10 squadron of 460 ships."
The North Korean Navy is a pathetic joke. It consists of large numbers of small, obsolete gunboats and missile boats, with a smattering of larger vessels of dubious combat potential.
"North Korea trains about 100 hackers a year and has computer virus battalions in place. These hackers are capable of interrupting US communication networks. In a war game conducted in 1991 by US war planners, North Korea came out the victor with and without nuclear weapons. Kim Jong Il has no doubt that his army can beat the US army."
The hackers are an unknown factor - their abilities are not known.
**"And most beautiful off all North Korea has 5000 tons of chemical, Bio and dozen nuclear weapons.. "
"North Korea has a large stockpile of biochemical weapons"**
Chemical and biological weapons are of limited value when compared to nuclear weapons. The US army's tanks and armoured personnel carriers are immune to the effect of these weapons, and troops in protective clothing are similarly immune. North Korea does not have enough nukes to be decisive, and the moment it crosses the nuclear threshold it own combat formations will be targetted for nuclear counter-attack. The soviet-style militry doctrines that NK follows are focused on packing large numbers of troops into a small battlefield - the perfect nuclear target.
I really don't believe that North Korea has to ability to defeat the USA on the battlefield. It's armed forces are large, but of poor quality and technologically grossly inferior to the US. On the other hand, particularly due to the underground tunnel complexes and limited numbers of nukes, it can potentially force the US to take more casualties than politically acceptable.
The large numbers of speacial forces troops would potentially also create a post-occupation regime vulnerable to guerilla attacks that make Iraq look like child's play.
In any case, the US Army's experience in Iraq shows that the USA has the capability to win battlefield victories, but is sorely lacking when it comes to occupying a country. I don't think we'll be seeing any more US adventures like Iraq anywhere else in the world for at least one decade, if not two.
